What did you look like back in the day?

About the same time.....
Great photo. Great time. Always liked the look of its OHC engine. Art in motion or standing still as the photo you posted up shows.

Impressed with the quality of the photograph, hearlady. Pre-digital era. Photographer may have been either a professional or a very skilled amateur with a good camera.

Those pictures all look different! 😊
As they should, but there's more behind it than years; I had to have my front teeth replaced 3 times, when I gain or lose weight it always shows in my face and nose first, and my meds indirectly effect my complexion.

My profile pic, for example...that portrait was taken on Father's Day in 2016 or 17 when my daughter came up to visit from L.A. She'd taken me to a tanning salon the day before, I'd just recovered from major back surgery and was on the thin side, and I'm wearing my second set of front teeth. (lost the real ones in the fall off a cliff that broke my back)

Anyway, even though it's not that old, I look different from my profile pic right now, too. I'm heavier, I'm pinker (one of my medications makes me rashy from sun exposure), and my new front teeth are a bit longer and wider:

I know of course weight change does it , and stress and pain.... god help me I know.. but not meds.. so that's a new one on me..and of course if you don't have natural teeth... and I agree Frank.. the 2024 Frank look completely different from the avatar 2016 Guy.. an the previous ones.. age taken into consideration of course..:)

My doctors never actually all agreed if the rash (more like hives) is sunlight interacting with my daily medication, or anesthetics used during the last 2 surgeries, or the analgesic-steroid combo injected in my spine between and after the 2 surgeries.

But I hate changing my meds again and again, so we all agreed I'll just limit my exposure to sunlight.

I think I look best with a little extra weight. Well, by "extra" I mean not skinny.

A couple years ago I suddenly dropped down to about 130. That was about a 45-pound loss and it happened within 6 or 7 months. What happened was, I lost my appetite. I just don't get hungry. But all my blood work, imaging and other tests looked fine, so my doctor isn't too worried as long as I can keep a healthy weight. I eat whether I feel like it or not.

Michelle makes me.

I wish I'd lose my appetite for a while :giggle:
