What do you cook the most?

I cook most of the meals at home and I try to cook a good selection of foods in different styles. Since I live in the countryside, but also close to the sea, I like cooking with fish and meat / game. Tonight it's beef and red pepper casserole.

Oatmeal. Up to 3 times a day. Always organic since a common practice is to spray oats with glyphosate (weed killer) right before harvest to allow a scheduled harvest.
I was just shopping for non-glyphosate oats today. My son and I like oatmeal in the winter, but most of the time we just want a quick bowl of Cheerios and these days we're afraid of them. When will someone come out with a Cheerio competitor with no Round-up?

We have baked salmon with baked potatoes and roast vegetables at least once a week. Lots of Corn-on-the cob and sliced tomatoes BLT's in the summer. Penne pasta and tofu meatballs. Burritos and Spanish rice.

summertime it's light things, sandwiches, pasta salads, something on the grill. But in the colder months we look for the old stand by meals like chili, spaghetti, lasagna, beef roasts, pork chops and chop suey, chicken, turkey breast, even pork hocks and sauerkraut with a bit of brown sugar added so it's not too sour! I've finally got hubby to eat leftovers. Sure cuts down on the grocery bill.
