What Do You Eat for Breakfast?

This morning I had a bowl of oatmeal with butter and a drop of maple syrup. Bland still, but my mind is opening up to other things.

Miso is made from soy, you can find it wherever you find tofu. It's how they make miso soup. Mirin is a kind of rice wine vinegar, I think; I've used it in sauces and marinades. I somehow cannot imagine either in oatmeal, but I'm trying to remain open on this subject.

"Wherever I find tofu?" When I see tofu, I run, hard, in the other direction. Thanks for the info Marcy!

1 cup oatmeal, 2 spoonfuls flax, dash of cinnamon, 1 cup almond milk, Microwave for 3 minutes. Then add 1/2 cup water, dozen or so frozen blueberries, cut up 1 banana in it and a dash of maple syrup to taste. You can add some pecans or other nuts too. I have had it 6 days a week for years. Sundays are eggs, sausage, toast.

2 hard-boiled eggs, made into egg-salad, and eaten open-faced. I got tired of eating the boiled eggs "as is".
The dietician from the Diabetes Foundation suggested 2 eggs for breakfast, every second day. It works for me.

ms gamboolgal, slices up my Rabbit Food for me and bags it ahead of time.
Breakfast is 2 Ribs of Celery, some Radishes, some Carrots, and some Bell Pepper washed down with a glass of of Vegetable (Tomato) Juice, a then a piece of cheese toast and a glass of water.
Its a helluva Jaw workout just crunching it all up.....Crunch, crunch, crunch...šŸ‡

But my favorite Breakfast is when we go on Poker Road Trips and I will get Steak, Eggs, Hash Browns, Grits and Toast usually about midnight.... But those are few and far between nowadays.
