What do you fear in the new year?

For me it is the possibility of losing ground with aging and thus some aspect of independence. If I can just keep the quality of life that I have now until the end I'll be a happy camper...

I fear a struggle with powers that be in my wife's nursing home about what when and how much palliative care will be available. I've been told that they have to follow very conservative guidelines that the state mandates whereas I want them to follow the dictates of my wife's living will. This struggle hasn't begun yet, but this might be the year.

I fear I will face this same thing, with both of my dogs. They are both old and have health issues.

I lost the tooth battle in 2014 Pappy.... Dentures aren't so bad... and they look pretty nice.. and I can now chew my food properly too!
