What do you guys think of AI (Artificial Intelligence)?

There are "Christian" AI chatbot assistants on "Play Store". They can help people who are practicing Christians who have questions about faith, belief, sin, Satan, prayer, you name it, this AI is a great tool to have on your phone if your a Christian who is looking to have a good Christian conversation. It is really quite amazing.
It is called appropriately "Christian AI".

Let me make this perfectly clear. The only reason satan continues is because he provides a challenge to God.
All he has to do is prove God wrong, just once. ... JUST ONCE!
Then he wins. God is not who he says he is.
He has not proven God wrong yet, but he continues because his fate is sealed with either winning or loosing.
If you want the final result it is Rev 11:15
“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah.
He will rule for ever and ever.”

Because you fear for today. There is nothing you can do. You can't change anything. You can worry and wring your hands. As Lydon Johnson said about Vietnam, "I can't run, I can't hide and I can't make it go away"
Same is true for us.
Trust in the Lord. Do your best. Look out for family and friends and BELIEVE that God will work it out.
That's it.
Want peace......before you turn out the light Thank God for your day and ask him to watch over you while you sleep.
When you wake up, If , you wake up. Thank him.
My life is centered around everything I have just said. I am not giving advise, I am giving you my experience. God has never failed me.
don't want response's. Don't need comments. Do what I suggested. Be prepaired for answers that you didn't expect. Question those answers, think about them and then do what you think is right with the understanding God will give you.
Trust, believe in him. Not me
He is there. If you want to connect..............................call with the innocence of a child.
I think there should be a separate forum for these sorts of discourse.

God WAS wrong once. Genesis 6: 6-7
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

And then he changed his mind *AGAIN*, and ordered the ark.

You're right about your last statement . If we want to connect seriously enough, we will connect, if only delusionally.

Your refusal to do your duty on behalf of life, your blind faith in the good outcome of things endanger the future of life when the bible made us all stewards of the earth.

He destroyed all but 8 people. He did not destroy all.
All after them come from those 8.
Context in reading. Version you are reading. Read others. Go back to where the context comes from.
There is nothing delusional about my belief.
Read as the defense, read as the defendant. Believe.......don't believe.
We can argue till it's time for dinner but it won't change a thing.
My belief is based on an everyday interaction. Mostly I talk but HE either response or changes things in my favor. I know it's Him. Timing, results etc. Who else could make things happen the way I need??
Sorry, but I know. I wish I could convey what it is, but I can't. You can believe in anything until your beliefs are destroyed. Then you grow up, as they say.
My beliefs in God have never been destroyed and I am 76 years old. He is there for me and that is enough.

The way I see it, there are three possibilities regarding the existence of "god"...
  1. God exists, but he's a total screwup.
  2. God exists, but he's a real a-hole (he'd have to be to allow all the suffering going on in the world).
  3. God doesn't exist.
Maybe we need a vote.

God has not given me the gift of faith. I am a sheep in the cold.

There is a fourth possibility.
4. There is a creator outside the confines of space and time.

Here's AI weighing in on the possibility of 8 people repopulating the earth. I suspect the odds are far slimmer if several of them were already related:
"Repopulating the Earth with only 8 people would be extremely challenging and likely impossible without some degree of genetic issues. Genetic diversity is crucial for a healthy population, and with such a small starting group, the gene pool would be very limited. This could lead to inbreeding and an increased risk of genetic disorders. In reality, a much larger and diverse population is needed to ensure the long-term survival and health of a species. So, while it's an interesting hypothetical, it's not a feasible scenario for maintaining a healthy human population."

The other unexplained issue is where did all the different races come from?

Agreed that is a major problem, along with trying to feed all the carnivore species for a year on the same boat as prey, and not to mention flooding the earth with more water than is actually on the earth.

Additionally, there's the logistics of catching and transporting 2 healthy specimens of every species. For instance, polar bears and penguins, kangaroos and crocodiles, all of the various insects, lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, and on and on. There are too many unexplained pieces to the entire story. It's too often explained away as "we don't always understand God's ways, but we have faith." However, it's not my place to judge, to each his/her own.

Why would I believe a hypothetical scenario that AI spits out as being truth? This line of thinking is fantasy land. I am sure that AI can come up with thousands of bizarre scenarios. It also can retrieve and assist humans in research that would take humans years to do. AI is not just a toy like it is being used here. It can be real fun. But, the practical uses for AI are unbounded and only held back by asking the wrong questions. :)

It's a borrowed older Babylonian story anyway.

We need to embrace it and learn how to integrate it into our lives.

You cannot stop progress.

I cannot stop thinking of how beneficial AI can be to the disabled and the elderly.
True, but I still don't have to like it. Of course I can't imagine eating snails either, there are some people who like them. Just my opinion!

What would the correct question be?
In my experience of experimenting with perplexity.ai ( free version - gives all references ) I have learned that I have to keep asking follow up questions to get a comprehensive answer. Then I check the sources for additional info. I liken it to asking questions to a expert in the current understanding of the subject. I keep the conversation going until I am satisfied with what it says. Also, I never believe it. It is an opinion/fact that needs verification. :)
