What do you think of Alan Watts philosophy?

Mr. Watts is a controversial teacher, philosopher, and mentor to many. He is most remembered for his interpretation of eastern philosophy/psychology, which differs from western thought in a striking way. Millions of people follow the eastern system of cosmology, as do millions follow the western approach. I see benefit from both these very different myths. Also I do not think anyone has IT right, therefore it IS myth. Read the book by Joseph Campbell "The Power of Myth" to understand how basic and useful everyone's "holy story" is.

I haven't researched enough to know if he called himself anything. I doubt he would believe in any label placed upon his freedom.

LOL Me too. He takes 1/2 hour to say the same thing over and over and over. Like he said "It provides him a good living!"
