What do you wish?

Seniors Forum phone app?
I misspoke: there isn’t a Senior Forums app; I should’ve said it’s when I access the SF site on my phone’s browser, it only offers the “Like” option. (I’m not able to get on SF on either of my computers, hurts my back and leg too much.)

@TheOtherRick. Here is a pic of the super realistic life size cat I mentioned.
Does this one look like your cat? It's probably expensive.
Maybe Medicare would pay for it if you got a prescription for it.
I imagine it would be healing for you to have.
Shadow Realistic Life Size Cat. OOAK Artist Handmade ...
No, my last baby was a small brown and white tabby just an alley cat I'll look into this though

I'm not big on wishes. It's my attitude that most things that come our way are the result of choices we make, both good and bad. Throw in a dash of random chance; the spill over from village idiots and it is what it is.

Is there a reason why you can't/don't have one?

OMG...SO cute!! Reminds me of our Deja.

Re: OP...while responding to @seadoug's post about friends with bad luck, it reminded me of another wish. I wish a good friend of mine could come up out of her financial woes, not have to work so hard and could take some time to relax and enjoy life.

Oh my, I have so many "wishes", but I guess everyone does too. But I keep in mind that "wishes" just don't make things happen, or change the past. But I will post a few personal ones anyway....

- I wish my Wife was healthy.
- I wish my daughter in law, my daughter, and one son hadn't made such lousy life decisions.
- I wish I had the wisdom I have now, back when I was young.

But those are personal and rather selfish. If I did have a "magic lamp" and had one wish, it would be:

- World peace, brought about by understanding, compromise, and respect.

I wish I had learned to play piano. I wish I had tried harder to write stories or novels. I wish I had been a better listener and not thought I knew everything. I wish I had been closer to my daughters and told them more often how much I loved them.

I wish I could fly. :D

But seriously - languages. I'd of loved to of learned more. I worked with a lady who spoke 8 languages. Amazing.

I wish I could type a post without editing it. I read it after posting and always think of how to add clarity and still I'm sometimes misunderstood.
Then I have to dig myself out which is messy and takes time.

:D

I think this very often. Sometimes I re-read something I've typed, sometimes not. But I *always* make mistakes. It's in the nature of a forum, I guess. You type quick responses, and fingers and brain aren't in sync................

The Nursing Home won't allow me to have one, there would be cats and dogs all over the place. I've found cat purring vids all over YouTube I put on my headphones listening to the purr with my eyes shut until I drop off to sleep. It's not the same, but it's better than nothing.

I think somebody ought to sneak a cat into Rick's room, sooner the better.
