Today is a high of 27 which is 80 degrees.
I’ll just walk earlier than normal.

We try to do the same on warm days and/or choose places with more shady tree cover. But on a hot day actually going to the coast is almost always a winner.

Coast, as in near the water?
If it’s a breezy day then this sometimes works for me but walking in a dense forest with streams works best. Yesterday was sure hot. Not as hot as most of you, mind you.

We're getting Saharan sand dust from Africa again, and that tames the humidity in the air some, along with making a filter from the sun.

It also keeps hurricanes from forming, but than again, it also cuts down on rain storms that are badly needed.

Yep, when it is really warm here, the beach south of San Francisco will usually stay cool. Then again when it is windy here it may not be possible to keep your feet under you at the coast as it gets very windy.

Coming off a string of days in the 70s and some violent storms here in the mountain west. The next week is expected to dry out with temps in the 80s.
