What dream do you remember from your youth?

When I was in high school I always dreamt about graduation day when I could lay around the house all day then hang out all night with my friends and drink beer, hook up with chicks and make out and generally had no intention of making forward progress. Then one day my dad told me to apply for colleges and I yapped to anybody that would listen about my future dealing with books, test and teachers so one friend said cheer up things could get worse so I said right, what could be worse then going to college so when I got home very very late one night, we're talking like 3:00AM in the morning and my father met me in my room as I was sneaking in through the window so I said to him, sorry dad but my car broke down so he didn't say anything so I cheered up and laughed like the jerk I always was and he turned around and like the old adage says, things got worse, he told me I better have a job by the end of the week or it's out the door for me and the car stays.

So be careful of what you dream of, it just might come true.

I had a couple of recurring dreams as a kid I can remember, just fragments, and not very interesting.

In one I dreamt I was 3 years old, feel asleep and work at 6, went back to sleep and work at age 12.

The other is even more fragmentary, just a scene with a dog running along a railroad track. Probably the track near my home where I played a lot.

Kind of boring. However these memories are pretty well engrained in my brain, I see them from time to time even today.

The one about Godzilla recurred many times, it was always the same, me running from him, then hiding in an empty restaurant bathroom; seeing the details of the stall I was hiding in, then Godzilla's face peered over, then I would wake up screaming, then

For Real, found myself later on in exact bathroom I saw in the dream.

Told this tale before in thread about prophetic dreams.

When I was about 6yrs old I kept dreaming about a cousin of mine on my Dad's side of the family. She was his sister's daughter and about 2yrs old in the dream. In the dream, she was crying over her Mother who in the dream dies. Then about 10yrs later her Mom did die. I will never forget that dream.

I lived in central Massachusetts, where we don't have many tornadoes. But as a little kid, I used to a recurring dream about a tornado coming over the huge hill across from my home . This is way before I saw "The Wizard of OZ", and I had no idea what a tornado was. Somewhere along the line, I must have seen something about tornadoes that scared me.
