What Excited You?

Many years ago my Mom's Dad who was 85yrs old at the time, went missing from a festival that my Mom's sister had taken him to. She sat him on a bench and went to get him something to drink. When she went back to the bench, He was missing. After a month a little boy found his body. It was exciting in a bad way ,but my Mom was finally able to adjust.
The most wonderful thing that excited me was the birth of my children and then the birth of my grandchildren.

So sorry about your grandfather. Yes those births are truly wonderful!♥️🤗

When I was a kid,it was the last day of school. Getting my first dog and all the other pets I've had through the years. In later years it was getting my first car. Going to nursing school and finally finding something that interested me. My first job.

Getting married, our first house, and the birth of my kids.

These days, getting my knees to work right, visiting the grand kids and enjoying all the activities the kids have planned for us. Always a surprise and always fun.

Yes those are exciting things 😊

That would have to be the birth of my granddaughter. The birth of my daughter was, yes, technically "exciting" but mostly "painful".

My granddaughter's birth, though, was very exciting. The doctor asked "who wants to catch?" Her husband and her father turned pale and looked like they were going to faint. So, she was born into my hands. Pretty darn exciting.

Are we talking about the past or the present? What excites me now is different from what excited me when I was younger. I can't handle as much excitement anymore. I might not survive it. 😄
Be it past or present or both.

I get excited or find pleasure in the outdoors, remote areas and lakes are best, wildlife perks me up and like a couple of others here, I love stormy threatening skies. I love the skies and clouds in general, and star gazing at night in an area where there are no hints of artificial lighting. The Northern Lights I saw in Canada many moons ago were absolutely spectacular....tent camping at the time.

Ooh, I'd like to see the Northern Lights, too!

Love watching the weather as storms roll in. I'm a huge Ohio State Football fan so fall Saturdays excite me and sometimes depress me. Seeing strange things in the night sky is exciting, too.

Okay. What excites me now is learning something new, adventuring, and achieving a goal, especially if I've had to do all the work myself. :)

In the past it was roller coasters, motorcycles, parties, my friends, pushing limits, inviting danger but escaping it. Things I would never do now.
