What exercise have you done today?

Wow. Went to the grocery store, and purposely parked a ways away. I grabbed a shopping cart to walk in, then got my usual scooter. Was not so bad until after I got home. Legs really achy. I mean, this too shall pass, and it is not the end of the world, but the task reminded me that I have gone too long without a lot of walking.

40 minute walk
1/2 an hour yoga 🧘‍♂️

I forget the name of the series I did today but it involved plank pose which I could not do properly. Not even close . 😱
Luckily the rest I was fine with. Plank pose was 1/2 done. Maybe I can work towards doing it.

yesterdays yoga was the ‘lotus link sequence’
Todays link is ‘water light sequence.’ This is my most unfavourite sequence of this entire yoga series. Even when I could easily do the plough, I disliked it. While lying on the floor you thrust you legs back over you head and hold them there while your toes touch the floor. My toes no longer touch the floor which is just more reason to lose weight. With excess weight, one can’t be as flexible.

Went out, got the mail, walked around outside to see if things are going to dry up so I can attack the new crop of leaves.

Noticed weird piles of black walnuts in the hulls out back. No such tree here but over a fence and 100 feet away there is one. Hmm, never had this before. Neighbor dumping them after dark? Surely squirrels couldn't have carried two bushels of this crap over a fence and placed it into piles?

Shoveled one pile near the fence back over it. :devilish: Not sure about the rest yet.

I usually pay closer attention to fitness in the cold months. I started having sharp pains in my feet, back is sore from pelvic tilt caused by the back of legs being too tight and sounds like gravel in my neck when I move. Time to slowly get straightened out.
1-1/2 hours of yoga and russian twists this morning. Tomorrow I will start using the Bowflex, and the next day, bicycle on the trainer.
Getting started is the hardest part. After the first week, it becomes habit.

Oh all the newbs and transients were at the gym today, lots of old folks, some flat brims, and the college kids. Slack is officially over.....so nice to live in a quiet town for the last couple months.
