What exercise have you done today?

@PeppermintPatty , I'm glad to see you're loving your fitness journey! I gotta look up sun-moon sequence, sounds like fun.
I usually have Vinyasa Yoga T,Th but my teacher is traveling back East to see his family in NY. So I 'm going to go to a Yoga shala today and take a gentle Yoga class I've been eyeballin'.
Hey Nathan
I really enjoy my yoga. I broke my tailbone as a child and it’s given me problems my whole life. This yoga really helps me stretch out my spine, my main muscles as well as helping me become aware of my body. This series I do by Kate Potter is called Namaste
Here a free download of season one:This is the nicest yoga I’ve found to date. I hope this works for you. The rest of the seasons are on YouTube if you’re interested. I think you’ll like them.

Today I was supposed to do half moon but I goofed up and did exhaled warrior again. Tomorrow I’ll do half moon. 🌙
I love the names too Natham. They sound so tribal. Today I noticed that I can do bridge pose far better than a couple of months ago. I love that pose where the top part of the body goes one way and the bottom goes the other way. I end up doing my own chiropractor moves as I hear my vertebrae click back in place to where they should be.

Today was a good day.

I focused on 3 things was grateful for.
Tomorrow I shall find smaller things to be grateful for.

A yoga glass sounds like fun. Are you going to join. Tells us how it goes.

Nothing today. Will probably just take it easy as I usually do on Sunday. I am so thankful that we are getting a nice snow-free winter so far or I would be out doing some snow removal too!

We both did our usual 50 stretches before breakfast and then we went shopping. Besides the two bus runs, we walked nearly two hours downtown. At first during our walks, the trolleys were empty.

However, as our walks went on, the trolleys became heavier.

So, stretching, walking and lifting weighty trolleys...

I had the trainer show me the equipment at the gym today so I did a little bit of a lot of weight machines today. I will never remember everything he showed me. I'll go back tomorrow and try to remember as much as I can.

The white ribbon of death is a term used during early ski season when there is little or no natural snow and we just have a few narrow runs clogged w people. They haven't skied in 6 months, conditions are tough, and they exceed their abilities on a crowded run.

This insta link shows an unfortunate deer, that was the last of a group of deer that crossed the run. The hillsides in the background are bare. The deer was hit, killed, and carried down but was eaten at a local bar.

1/2 an hour of yoga 🧘‍♀️ Half moon. 🌙
This is a really nice sequence. It requires a lot of balance. I am surprised I can still do this. This sequence really helps with blood flow to the brain.
Yayyyy!

Have a great day everyone 🎄
It sounds like you're really enjoying your Yoga ....I'm happy for you.
You've even inspired me to try a few poses and stretches. :)

(also love the video)

The roads and sidewalks were marginal to walk on this afternoon. Were downright dangerous this morning. Don’t you just love winter. I got 8000 steps in; I’d prefer more.

Well yesterday I went for a 7,000-step walk. I was with my family as we were celebrating my 80th birthday. After that we went back to the hotel and after a quick shower we did more celebrating, with snacks and a lovely birthday cake. It was a great day, the hotel was on the 26th floor of the Sebel Quay West, at Circular Quay. The evening saw the beautiful Sydney Harbour all lit up , and the shoreline looked like fairy lights.
We just sat there till 11.pm talking about the old days of the family growing up. It was the best birthday ever. I am truly blessed.

@Peppermint Patty, I'm glad you're enjoying the benefit Yoga brings to your life! The Thursday class at the Yoga Shala was great, 2 of my friends from the Yoga class at the gym came up. Enjoyed the gentle stretching asanas. The teacher was in our age group, which works out well. In talking with her turns out we know several people in common. Definitely will attend again.

60 squats this morning; 20 lunges an hour or so later; before lunch, 5 minutes at maximum speed on my stationary bike; this evening 30 minutes at a slower speed cycling on the stationary bike.
So much for my lower body strength and some cardio too. With my shoulder injury finally healing I need to get back to upper body strength building. I might not even be able to do one proper pushup. I could start with the wuss pushup though and leave my torso from the waist down on the floor........

Being taught by others is the best. Doing yoga with others can be such a spiritual event. Good for you. A live teacher trumps a good dvd. 👍

I haven’t done yoga in a couple of days. Tomorrow I shall start a new DVD. I’m excited. Gratitude. I’m grateful to still be flexible enough to do yoga. My bridge pose is finally improving. Yayyy. lol

Disappointed. Got outside but didn't get very active. Above freezing but a chilling breeze with a lot of dampness. Made me go back in and hunker down.

Funny, I seem to do more when it is even colder outside. I hope nothing is creeping up on me, like a cold.
