What exercise have you done today?

I think this is my fourth Saturday back at the gym after sitting in a chair seven days a week, 12+ hours a day, for many months. Evil 😈 employer.

(I did quit by the way. Last day is December 20th)

Anyway started going heavier with the weight on the second week back. Usually a bad idea but I did not end up too sore.

Today after long warm up, moved up to and did a handful of military press sets with two 40 lb dumbbells, then backed it down until the muscles involved got real tired.

And I did a whole bunch of curls, wrists horizontal and wrists vertical. Up to about 70 lbs, then back down to weakness.

I think Thanksgiving will be a leg day to failure. ♿

Nothing today. Been since Thanksgiving when we were in Colorado for 6days. It broke my exercise rhythm. It will kick in soon am considering trail bicycling as opposed to so much trainer bike training; I usually do HIT on the trainer bike for an hour and weight lifting, crunches, lunges, etc.
 
My typical routine is:
25-50 lunges (used to do 100 in my early 60s but my knee objected at some point in time)
60 counter push ups
50 squats to a chair or work out bench
20 lawn mower pulls with 20lb wt each arm
20 10# bicep curls each arm followed by 10 12# bicep curls each arm, followed by 8 15# bicep curls
100 butterfly kicks for lower abs
75 center ab crunches; 75 left oblique ab crunches ditto right obliques
20 overhead lifts of a 20# dumbbell, using both hands. Three count: Floor, rise to chest level, rise to up over head
20 side stretches each side with a 15# dumbell in each hand

Then on my trainer bike and do one hour of HIT training: 5 min warm up; 1 minute standing peddling with as strong a tension as I can for as fast as I can; then five min seated at moderate; alternating whatever way I feel like as long as am doing cardio moderate to high and peddling to the beat of my favorite tunes.

Then I cool down by doing stretches on a matt, head to knees, etc.

Am exhausted for the rest of the day. I do this 4-5 times a week; unless I have a long session of gardening to do.
