What exercise have you done today?

Does watching exercise count at all? My window here looks out on a residential street that gets several regulars. A long thin man I call The Loper who slowly bounces by alone once a day, then comes by later with his little fat dog, then again in the evening with his little fat wife. We have a few serious runners and some nice older couples walking in the evening.

The one who just went by is a pretty young blond my son and I first notice about three weeks ago, We noticed because she stopped in front of our house to throw-up. She had a perfect 34-24-34 type figure, but we joked that she had probably looked in the mirror that morning and decided she was fat.

She's been by everyday since and in just these three weeks I'd say she's lost about 15 pounds and is now more of a 30-20-30. I'm not worried about her yet, I'm mainly impressed at how responsive young bodies are. Time will tell if I should worry or not.

Yes, time will tell and the outcome may not be good. We had a woman like that in our town. She kept getting thinner. She wore shorts, and her legs looked like sticks. Then she started wearing a heavy coat, even in the summer as she walked. I don't know why. I figured maybe she was trying to conceal the fat she imagined she had, or maybe she realized she had become too thin and didn't want people to notice. I offered her a ride now and then, and once on a very hot summer day, she accepted, but usually would not - said she enjoyed walking. Then the time came I no longer saw her, and found out she had passed on.

You look beautiful what ever you're doing, Deya. I think your Tai-Chi sort of thing or some of the ballet bar exercises like I've been doing will be a lot better for your neck.

Thank you. You are much to kind. I agree, since I can keep my neck straight. I also dug out my old high compression, high neck tops, and they seem to help keep my neck in a good position. They are a bit on the warm side, but do really support the lower neck. I think I will start using them for my walks.
