What happened to those products?

Happened to see an old "Perry Mason" episode. Back in those old days, they used to stick ads in the closing credits. I was looking at the ads, and they were for stuff, which have long gone into the ancient product dust bin. "Lux" soap? These were big names. Top dog products. Now, unless you're an old geezer, like me (71), you've never heard of them.
Who would have thought "Babo", and all the other super big product names would just vanish?

They have gone the way of Duz, Coco Marsh, clam dip and others.

However, we still have Skippy, Morton salt, and many candy bars that have shrunk to the size of a Life Saver. We still have Life Savers too.

Funny you mention clam dip. My husband was just telling me yesterday that he misses clam dip, and wondered if I would make some soon.

I still make clam dip. My son in law loves me to make it when they come.
I have a bar of Lux soap my MIL had when we cleaned out her house. My granddaughter's middle name is Lux so I'm saving it for her.

The icecream truck would come around every day. Popsicles were five cents, but my sister and I had to share one, which always brought up the fight.....which flavor? I loved orange ones, she wanted grape. My mom would get tired of the fighting and popsicles would be off the menu for the rest of the week. Horrors.

Remember the ice cream that came in dixie cups, and you licked off the ice cream on the inside of the cover, in order to see what movie star's picture was on there?

One of our local dairies offered those dixie cup caps.

My age must be showing ‘cause I don’t remember those.:p

I do however remember Dixie cups with the wooden spoons

Popsicles come in 26 flavours? Sweet!

I remember some of these products from Banquet.

When I got my first apartment I lived on Banquet pot pies 5 for a dollar and those boil in bag pouches of meat and gravy over potatoes.

I have a bar of Lifebuoy soap in the closet. The store where I bought it was in Mexico.
