What happens when you reach 70 years of age.

Only listened to a few short sections in order to understand where she was going. She overgeneralized what happens to many seniors by stating all of us have those problems that as other SF have posted is not always true. In some levels of decline, yes true, but not to the extent related. At age 70, little me at 5'6" and 137 pounds, on a 9-day backpack, over the first 3 days, carried 62 pounds (much heavy camera gear) over Shepherd Pass in the Sierra Nevada, one of the most notorious strenuous 6,000 foot plus uphill routes over Sierra Crest into Sequoia National Park, upper Kern River Basin areas.

And during winter skied Tahoe moguls much of the winter, that even few twentysomething skiers are never able to do because such requires fast reactions controlled from one's visual brain to motor control brain system. Likewise, my brain is still unusually sharp and quick because I regularly exercise it with reading science and performing complex computer tasks, like computer programming and Photoshop post processing.

Although I've never had a gym membership and have rarely exercised regularly, I have always gotten plenty of exercise just from activities I enjoy. Of course, I also regularly am out in the field working landscape photography and dance a lot. I've posted YouTube videos herein of what shuffle dancing looks like that I have been doing since 1970 well before anyone termed it so or it became a thing with some in the rave scene. In my case, would describe such as a running man, pendulum shuffle dance.

Anyone have any interest in seeing the Michael Jackson movie?

Thursday I had a blood test at a KP office. In front, of me was an old white haired, wrinkled gal with a walker slowly moving about. She was a year younger than me. Late yesterday, danced outdoors for fun much of a 3 hours to an AC/DC tribute band within a large Friday night crowd. This afternoon is another less rowdy band playing from a more pop oriented song list.

Well it is true, that genetics are factors. And so are lifestyle choices. Due to neural plasticity, we become what we do. The more we repeat movements, the more cytoskeleton microtubules form in our nervous system to do whatever. Most importantly to retain athletic form over decades, maybe one should just stay active over their life as in Use It or Lose It.

I know what happens when you're close to turning 69.
My body just won't do what my brain asks it to. I guess it would I would be pushing it to a point it wouldn't be beneficial.
I did a boat load of stuff this morning so I guess I should be grateful.
