Usually if I'm having a nap or something and won't be answering my phone for a while, I give my son a call to let him know.
They think I might be hurt or heart attack/stroke or something because I'm older.I just don't answer and let the caller leave a message if they care to. What does age have to do with it?
I don't answer my phone. Even though I am on the 'do not call list' nationally and statewide I still get calls/robo calls at all hours of the day, early morning, late at night and on weekends. I am done running to the phone for these pests. People who know me will leave a message and if I know who it is I will pick up the phone if I am there. I call it my 'poor man's caller ID'
I understand that decision underock. I really do. I told my doctor that in case of stroke I do not want to be brought back or kept alive. My closet daughter said she wasn't going to & could not do that..so I've taken that decision out of her hands..I never answer the phone. Every one important knows that. I am hard of hearing which makes it difficult. I get several calls a day. All from solicitors. All ignored. All of my personal communication is by E-mail. If I have a heart attack or stroke, I don't want them to find me in time.
