What have you bought recently?

My cousin has been recommending that sugar wax to me lately.
She's tried them all, and says that's the best!

Good to know about those facial razors. I backed off them because of the fear of hair growth.
Exactly, they're a nightmare @dobielvr . The brand I've got has a funny word (Nad's) 🤣🤣🤣but I'm very satisfied of the results.

A second small mat identical to the one I bought a few days ago. The first one is right inside the doorway; the second is beside the alarm controls. That should collect most of the snow on the bottom of our boots.

A big, by my standards, grocery order.

Forgot that I also got frozen blueberries for scones. Big purchase yesterday: tote, bird seed, frozen blueberries.

Add to that this morning's purchase of Dove chocolate and I'm turning into a veritable spendthrift! 💸 💸 💸

Materials: Very fine Magnet wire, (0.004" dia)

Welp. I did it. I bought the gallon jug of water. It cost $1.19, so 19 cents over budget. What'll I do now? I don't have anywhere to get another 19 cents to balance the budget 💸

Yanno...when even the price of water goes up, there's definitely an inflation problem.

I've had a couple of things in my Amazon basket for about a week now, waiting to order for a day's delivery when I'm sure I'll be at home.

Tomorrow morning I have to be at the hospital in the next county.. , and so I won't be here then..either.. and Sunday is forecast to be a glorious day, so I'm hoping to be out then too.. . If I can order when I get home tomorrow and be sure they'll be here on Saturday I'll do that, but otherwise it'll be next week..

I do most of my shopping online anymore.
Distilled water has been getting harder and harder to acquire - in some stores - impossible, so I decided to see if there was something available to do it at home. We have 2 people on CPAPS and a Keurig coffee pot which lives longer when you use distilled water. I found a bunch on Amazo It only makes a gallon at a time and takes 4 hours to process it.

Works for us, though.IMG_0662.jpg

I live in Canada and today I paid $1,484 for a pair of glasses. It was only a few years ago that my wife's cousin got a pair for $800 and it was the "talk of the town" that he had paid way, way too much.

The government is bringing immigrants "by the plane loads." A lot of them are sure going to be surprised when they find out what things cost in this country. This is really getting to be a country for the rich. A sort of "Hollywood" but instead of beautiful people, blood cold and piles of snow everywhere.
