What have you bought recently?

Yesterday I bought an all in one moss killer/feeder/ fertiliser... ... and a box of solar lights for the paths... they've just been delivered. Again he didn't knock the door, just left them on the doorstep.. good thing I was watching out for him..

I prefer White Cheddar, but the good white cheddar is hard to find. Stay away from Skinny Pop. It has no taste. If you have Wise Pop Corn White Cheddar, that is pretty good. Boomchickapop in White Cheddar isn’t terribly bad. Sweet and Salty is also pretty good.
Oh, I got the type that pops in the microwave. But, thanks for the tips on the bagged corn. I might try that next time.

I spent $3 on a birthday card for DGD. Her birthday is Wednesday, but we're celebrating it tomorrow so that she can go out with her BF on Wednesday evening.

Does $3 even count?

maybe... I did the same thing for my DD.. a little more than $3... including postage... it's not the price it's the sentiment.. or to show you haven't forgotten at least :ROFLMAO:..my DD's birthday is the 13th just 4 days before mine...

Busy week, 1st was the agreed upon purchase of a new washer (old one 7 YO & shook. rattled & rolled). 2nd was the suggested replacement of our 15+ YO Sony TV, replaced with a ROKU brand smart TV. TV was a bigger along with better/crisper picture Sony was $800 new, ROKU $300 on sale. ROKU's are designed for streaming. Prices are better now.

@hollydolly I got the card today but also got her an Uber card three weeks ago so that part doesn't count as money spent today. The Uber card is her birthday present.

Now I'm gonna transfer all but $50 to my EF so that I won't be tempted to spend it. Probably the only place I'd buy anything is at the garden center anyway, and I have a $100 gift card for that if it happens.

One thing leads to another, needed a new stand/cabinet for the TV. Had to order one from Amazon for $68.53. Old one was just a little shy on length had to reverse the legs so it didn't look like it would slide off. I do feel better now, gave it 4 more inches in length.

Ugh.... Although we went to Costco earlier in the week we had to head back this morning. Didn't realize DH was out of the vitamins that help with his tinnitus (Costco's Mature multi vitamins). We got there a few minutes after it opened so while it was busier than usual, checkout was a breeze. Grabbed the vitamins, a package of Beyond Meat burgers (so I can make meatballs) and some ciabattas.

Can't remember the last time I escaped that store for $35. Then again, I dropped $137 there Tuesday so maybe I shouldn't brag too loudly about today's thriftiness.

Got a few groceries.
STOLE some coffee 😉😊😀😁…..it felt like I stole it……was in the Red Apple store here, to pick up a couple of things.
Saw a lady who had several tubs of Folgers decaf coffee, 642g, and it ran up at $6.99 each. 😲😳😀😃😄.
So……I high tailed it to the coffee shelf, and there were 4 left…..that’s all they had left…..got them all.
Regular price is $15.98.
I DID GOOD !!!!!

I saw gas went up from $1.56 litre to $1.61 litre……must be a long weekend. 😏.

Spent a whole buncha money on boring stuff, except for the odd $$ at Home Depot not covered by the gift card. Thought I had $100 card. I did, but there was only $17 left on it. I got two mona lavender plants and more portulaca.

At Wallyworld the boring stuff was artificial tears and other cr@p.

Someday I'm gonna post and list interesting stuff.

Anyway, now I'm tired and want a nap but have to plant the flowers first.

excluding the robin. A red bird nesting box in the style of a postbox...I've had one for many years and it's now looking shabby after being out in many winters and sun, so time for a replacement

Does yours have the new monarch’s initials, @hollydolly ? I wonder how many were in the warehouse with the old initials on them? (Obviously I don’t have enough going on to keep my mind occupied, hmm? 🤔)

for myself, I bought a new washer/dryer today
