Yeah. Well I forgot that every year I give DSIL a Farmer's Almanac just for fun. And then I saw this cool drone-like ball that spins and flies and hovers and stuff and can be recharged on a USB port on the computer and, well, you know how that goes. I mean, it's really cute so into the cart it went. DS and DSIL will have fun playing with it.

I only spent less than $40 and the delivery is free. Free is good, right?

I saw those balls! Tempting. Maybe for DH.

Christmas presents.

That's what I bought recently. I'd be more specific, but my wife sometimes reads Senior Forums, so I won't spill the beans.

All my Christmas shopping is done, and all the presents are wrapped and under the tree already. All except my wife's, because she's too good at guessing.

Some people really, really don't like the sound when you speak on speakerphone. Same for earbuds.

Some of that might be my hardwood floors. I'm not ready to hang moving blankets on the walls either.

Oh yeah that's true. A hearlady should have remembered that. Noise canceling headphones would work. For TV too.

Maybe I just need to master cradling the slab between my jaw and shoulder without accidentally deleting all my photos or ordering a dozen pizzas or something.

Not as much as I wanted. When DH was heading out, I grabbed my backpack and forgot my wallet. He gave me his CC, which I used for the groceries. I don’t like to put my own purchases on his card, so just spent a little bit of my emergency cash.
The hardest part was not having my phone. I didn’t know if he’d be back in 10 minutes because the barber was too busy or if he’d be an hour. Normally, he’d call me when he was on the way back to the store and I’d be outside. Cell phones are good for us.

I bought paper towels, toilet tissue, Christmas cards in a box, vacuum packer rolls, a big box of Timothy hay, 3 lb. compressed Timothy hay cubes, rabbit chew sticks, chew balls (his Christmas present). Nothing else this month I hope.
