What have you bought recently?

Picked up a few more Correlle bowls at the thrift store. The DIL who asked me watch for them is coming here tomorrow. I think I’ll keep these squarish ones for myself. She’s still getting a good haul.

DH hates shopping so asked me to look for a small firm pillow that he can use for a finger strengthening exercise. There was nothing in regular stores and the stock they have is expensive. Luckily I found one in the thrift store. He was with me. When I went to pay, he was busy browsing.

yesterday I had my nails done.... .. then I bought a sleeveless summer blouse... a couple of items of food from the supermarket .. and a tank full of petrol from the supermarket garage

I've been seeing this at Walmart, and finally I just couldn't resist anymore. A microwave with a retro look. According to the box it came in, the shade of color is, Be Bop Blue.

I love those retro microwaves... they've been a thing here for about a decade, they come in all sorts of colours, but I like that duck egg blue. Two things stop me buying it..the low wattage on them, and the fact they just wouldn't suit my kitchen ...but I like them

I've just bought leather repair filler, and leather repair paint.

I have a few scratches on the arm of my 2 seater sofa.. and my three seater leather sofa which is immaculate..until now.. I noticed a tiny little crack which is about to tear open, so I want to get it repaired before it does.. then I'll sell them both

Now before y'all start flaming me, let me explain. This is how it happened. Truth!

DD took me to the garden center because I needed just one more small sack of Bermuda seed ($8). DD was with me. There weren't any carts available so she took one of those big, flat rolly things because she wanted to visit Clarence. Okay. I was game to visit Clarence, too. I'll admit it, but I had absolutely no intention, no plan, to buy any of Clarence's marked-down flowers. None whatsoever. I swear.

When we got to the checkout, the rolly thing was full.

*2x Crotons (I call 'em Croutons or Cretins :), and they're perennials if I put them in the garage during the winter)
*1x red garden phlox (perennial)
*2x very large pots of sunpatiens with 8 plants in each pot
*1x orange blanket flower (perennial)
and the Bermuda seed, of course

The total came to $90.52. Oops. It's DD's fault. She was supposed to provide adult supervision. And she probably hurt Clarence's feelings because she didn't even buy anything.
