What have you bought recently?

I have just bought an 8 drawer chest of drawers.. it's going to be delivered this coming week...however, I have to remove several pieces of furniture from the room it's going into.. and I have nowehere to put the furniture except downstairs.. and I can't lift them downstairs myself... so a bit of quandary..

I would have ordinarily cleared the furniture out first before buying , but this was incredible bargain.. so I had to get it today or lose it.. ( Ebay)...

ask the guyswho deliver the dresser if they could move the other pieces for some extra cash. I always do what you did and the delivery guys are happy to make a "tip".

yes I would normally, but this is a private seller, so it seems to much of a cheek to ask..and also what if they say they can't for whatever reason.. I'd be stuck...
 

Spent $20 on boring stuff at Walmart. It was earlier this morning when I was feeling really unwell and tired, and yanno what? I can't even remember what I spent it on. It must have been stuff I needed because the trip was planned, and I had a list on my phone. Oy! Spent another $19 to send a UPS parcel to DS.

I want to go to the garden center this week but need to finish chores like pulling/digging weeds. If I get flowers before getting the weeds done, the weeds will get skipped in favor of planting flowers. Can't have that because it'll mean more weed work as they get bigger and spread even more.
 
I got a bottle of Turtle Wax Spray wax and shine.... after getting that bird poop off my car I needed to protect it with something util I can get to the car wash... Ironically today because I did too much yesterday I'm not feeling well enough to go out and do it ..tomorrow I will try and get it to the car wash...
 
Well, I've completed the hearing aid circuit, In the beginning: 1-amplified BTE aids (nope, hurt the top of my ears.), 2-Reg ITE hearing non-amplified (not bad, irritates/tickles the inner ear). 3-good set of gereric TV-EARS headphones (g-g-g-reat! use all the time)., 4-improved ITE aids (still a little painful in ear canal) . Now (5-) found a set of headphones designed for everyday use & conversational ability. I care less about appearance, trying to avoid the irritation in either Behind-The-Ear (BTE) or In-The-Ear (ITE) aids. Total price paid under $10,000 (HA-LOL). The new ones, below priced @ $99.99 here's hoping they work. Blame my father for the heredity trait. We'll try to stay with the 3/5 combo.

Good you're removing the bird do-do, @hollydolly I didn't react quickly enough with my pick-up, it created some minor damage to the finish.

Yes, sorry I didn't identify you fast enough, spent too much time on my aid story.

dya mean me ?... Normally I would get it removed instantly I saw it, but I was recovering from Pneumonia so I couldn't go outside... so it stayed on there for 3 days at least before I got the chance to get it off. All the time I was stressing about the paintwork..but fortunately it hasn't left any damage.
 
Guilty! But DD made me leave a lotta $$ at each of the garden centers 💸 💸 💸 💸 It's her fault. There are a whole buncha plants. Now they have to be planted in pots and in the ground. A few have already been done; the others tomorrow. Sigh.

I spent too much and now have to borrow from my savings to get a birthday gift for DGD.

However, the garden is looking quite nice.
 
I just bought a new set of windscreen wipers.. onine..

My soon2Bex for all of his faults, only ever bought the 'best' of anything for HiS top of the range sports car, and when it came to parts for my car which he would fit himself, he would always buy good quality for me too.. I am fortunate that despite not being able to fit things like that myself. that I photograph everything.. and so when he bought the last wipers, I took a photograph when they arrived still in their box... that was about 5 years ago.. and so because of that I was able to look up the same ones to buy this time...(y)

My computer headphones broke - temporarily patched them with packing tape until I my new set arrives. These lasted five years - not bad for $11. I ordered the same headphones at the same price, but this time from an eBay seller instead of Amazon because I'm doing as little business with AZ as possible.
