What have you bought recently?

Barefoot shoes. They are amazing.
I have been using a similar designed shoe, problem it gave me since the heels are so low was I guess it's called 'bone spurs' now I understand what gave 'him' a deferment from the military. Painful, back to my regular shoes! Aging if it isn't something, it's something else that gets you.

Sorry to hear they didn't work for you. :(

I used to be on my feet 10 hours of the day at work.. walking on Concrete studio floors... it gave me agonising Plantar fasciitis..so in my quest to ease the pain , I changed from my regular heeled boots and shoes to the flattest shoes I ccould find... no change...My doctor said it's the worst thing you can do, is to walk in shoe with no heel.. the ideal heel is 1.2 inch... so that's when I discovered Sketchers.. and I've never looked back

Back during my career I purchased a pair of 'Harness boots', wore them one night, after a few hours I was down to stocking feet. My shins took a beating & were screaming!. How do women stand high heels? I will leave this alone, I think I can figure it out myself.

I have aways worn high heels... now I might not be able to since I haven't really worn them in the last few years but I've still got loads...

Bought a Korean brand of facial moisturizer at Winners (the Canadian equivalent of Ross Dress for Less). It’s much less expensive than buying at Sephora or the other higher end brands I was buying. I really like it.

The one thing I‘m still willing to pay extra for is facial sunscreen. It discount Thursday so I’m planning on getting some today.

I bought some bulk items:
~500 pinch close (aka zip) bags, 8 x 10, 4 ml. mostly used when scooping the litter box.

~1,000 nitrile, non latex gloves, also used while scooping litter and some chores. I've had gray, royal blue and this time I got a pretty light blue color. Those items should last for 18 months.

~Box of 30 Popcorners and 20 Bueno Bars from Costco.

I decided to lend myself $500 for the flower fund. It's intended to last me for the entire summer. Intended. Good thing I've already bought a lot of seeds and bedding plants. Jussayin'

It'll take a couple of months to pay myself back, dammit.

Nothing fancy in this house and it’s a good thing I have a stash of groceries.

1. Ring/pinion gear + labor cost to put it in my JD 4110. Now I can mow and use the front loader.

2. 10# of pure Natural Vitamin E for my remaining elder horse; it will last him several months. He’s 30 and I almost smacked the vet for calling him geriatric - just because he is, doesn’t mean the word has to be uttered.

3. (2) 28# bags of Taste of the Wild salmon dog kibbles for my two large dogs. That should last them “a day or two”.
