What have you bought recently?

To my great satisfaction, I have finally found my old favorite Thrift Store of my youth. I had been very frustrated because I couldn't remember where exactly it was and although I've visited several thrift stores since I moved back to this area, none were the right one.
So now I'm the happy owner of second hand short-sleeved and long-sleeved t-shirts, a sort of (obviously not professionally done) tie-dyed sweatshirt ('jersey' to some people), and a purse with lots of little outside zipper pockets. I didn't need a purse so it will just sit and be clutter in the closet (I convinced myself I needed it as a backup in case my purse were to suddenly break).

I didn't spend any money today. However...

About suppertime yesterday a UTI hit me out of the blue so off I went to Kaiser's urgent care. Two and a half hours later I was armed with a prescription after getting the first dose from the doc. I feel much better today and glad I didn't wait until the middle of the night.

And my co-pay was $25. So I didn't buy anything, but I spent $25. (Worth it had it been twice the price!)

Off tomorrow and not going anywhere to spend $$. Not even on flowers.

hope you're feeling better now Gigi.... 💐

Looks like the time to buy a new lawnmower. We dropped into a local country store that had a good range of mowers and narrowly missed fainting at the prices. Mrs. L wants one that is easy to start and manoeuvre, but was sturdy enough to tackle the garden (which is a bit rough).
The choice came down to a couple of mowers, but we fancied the one with electric start and easy to get into awkward places. We'll go back and have another look before parting with out cash.

You can have my old lawnmower. I went all electric last year, so my gas equipment is just sitting in the garage collecting dust.

What have I bought? Well, I've spent a lot but have nothing to show..........yet! There's another blazer in the pipeline, a burgundy, single breasted one. The reason why there's not much to show is because, like all of my suits, trousers and blazers, it will be, made to measure.
Now I have to wait, and wait, and wait. I'm not good at waiting!

what happened to the fitted grey one with the belt you showed us the other day ?:)

I can't spend any money because my paycheck has already been transferred to my EF. I do, however, have that $100 gift card for Lowe's garden center...

Well, in the past week or so, I took my dog to the vet for annual immunizations ($132), bought groceries ($102), got a new pair of sandals at DSW (Merrell's ...super comfortable, $70), had my car serviced ($62), the lawn mowed (interestingly, also $62) and the exterior of the house powerwashed ($302), ordered some treats for my fur baby from Chewy ($30), filled up my gas tank ($40) and had a duplex ultrasound on my legs to see if there are any blood clots (thankfully, none were found, cost is unknown until I get the statement from the insurance company).

Next week, dental cleaning ($125), mani/pedi ($65), appointment with a hematologist to discuss duplex ultrasound results and figure out next steps (again, cost is unknown pending statement from the insurance company) and lots of yard/tree work (estimated cost $871).

Bought an Energizer PMHT28 flashlight. Weighs a pound, no batteries (rechargeable), typical size lens, but 3 led‘s, and it puts out so much light ( 2 brightness selection) that it easily illuminates an entire room. Like it so much we now have two.

Today I bought some hanging plant holder for the fence.. and some plants... as well as a new Watering can. Chuffed that the watering can was only £3... ( tesco)>..

Also paid quite a bit to have a Blouse altered...

@Leann It's only money. What else would you have done with it :ROFLMAO:

I didn't spend any money today. Not even for ice cream or flowers.
