What have you bought recently?

Are they in a section of a store together? Or are they in separate sections, depending on what the food category is?
they're in the freezer sections, the chill sections, and the dried goods.. next to cans... in packages..

You can pretty much microwave any pre-packaged foods, whether frozen, chilled or freeze dried...... just follow the instructions on the packet .. takes just a couple of minutes for most things...

Thank you for that input, and the ideas!

Three new cookie sheet pans, jumbo sized.....15 in. X 20 in. They'll speed up my cookie baking for the Saturday market. My old sheet pans were 14 X 16. These new ones, from King Arthur Baking are heavy gauge stainless steel and seem to transmit the heat evenly without a scorching effect but it's better if I use both hands to handle them when they're loaded up with cookies.

Oh @bobcat48 can you post about woodburning sometime? A friend of mine is planning to take it up and it sounds interesting. (y)
It's a really enjoyable hobby. It's very relaxing, and there's something about burning an image into wood that turns into a handsome image because of the subtle woodgrain in the background. I have many, but here are a couple of others: one of a jaguar, and another of a cat, and an eagle.

Those are gorgeous. Do you use a template or can you freehand the designs? (I can't even freehand a straight line without messing up...)

No, I'm not that good a freehanding. I use an image transfer method. First I bring the image into Photoshop, adjust contrasts and light, resize to desired dimension, then use a photocopy filter to just highlight the lines of the subject. Once that's done, I flip it in Photoshop, send it to the laser printer to print out, then I tape it onto the wood piece (centered), and use a transfer/shader pen to carefully go over the image at the right temp to get the image to transfer. Sometimes the little details don't always transfer, but I fill those in when I am hand burning it and looking at the image on my laptop. The actual burning is the fun part. There are a few techniques to learn, but you learn as you go, and I would be happy to share those with anyone who desires to learn.

A half gallon of milk. I ate the last of the ice cream yesterday so stocked up buying three half gallons before leaving work this morning. It should last a day or two. Not to worry. I still have plenty of chocolate...

@hollydolly and all other SF Cyberpals and Invisipeeps! Sit up and take notice. The girls will no longer flap up and black my eyes. I'd been tucking them into my waistband, but I was just online and bought two bras. Yup. $96 but by the time all the discounts and the tax were applied, the total is a mere $46. Free shipping. They'll be here 18th-21st, depending on USPS.

Actually, I'd been waiting for a deal so I could get two more because I only have five and have to do laundry more than once a week. Doing laundry is not my favorite thing.

This morning I did an early walk to another grocery store. They’re the only place that sells the Blue Cheese salad dressing that I like. Out of stock. So I bought a mango, a loaf of bread and the rest was non-food stuff. $115. One thing was 3 packs of unsweetened cherry drink. DH picked me up again. This system works for us.
