I'm mostly past the acquisition stage of life, too.Whenever I see this thread I realize how little I am helping the economy. Glad it doesn't depend on me. However, the big season is coming up soon. Except for my basic needs I rarely buy anything at all.
I think I told you a while back Star, that I stopped wearing anything that has no back to them after I had that last major fall caused by the back of my sandals catching on the doorstep...LOL @hollydolly! We were posting at the same time. I own a couple of pairs of Merrell Encore Breeze Slides. One pair is kept under my bed in case of an overnight emergency where the lights are out and I need shoes very quickly.
During warm weather I'm almost always in flip flops, but sometimes need more support. Don't wear socks unless it's cold, so that's how I started up with Merrells.
that's cuz you are soooo rich you have everything already...I'm mostly past the acquisition stage of life, too.
I still have a blouse or two from the seventies! In excellent condition, so I wear them. When I do, I tell my DIL I'm wearing something older than her. She likes hearing that!I'm mostly past the acquisition stage of life, too.
