What have you bought recently?

oh yes 30 hungry mouths will get rid of that very quickly...
Yes, that's true! Living in the country, very rural, feral cats multiply. I have a mother cat and 2 of her now 9 week old kittens living on my back deck since she gave birth to them. For ferals, these are socialized and love to interact with me when playing with their toys.

The other ferals, I whistle for them when it's feeding time, and they come running. None are mean or nasty. They eat, then go on their way.

Most of the scenery on the way to your house would be 🧞‍♀️🐠🐟🐳🐋🐬🦭🌊
well if you come by road... before you get on the boat in France.. you can see lots of European scenery... then you can have the magic of the sea creatures.. before arriving and seeing this glorious sight...

I might buy some sprouting seeds. Sprouts are the only "farming" I can do here when things turn cold.

I already have mung beans. Kind of tired of those. I have mixed radish seed. Spicy, but after making a batch I can't finish them. Maybe something mild again, like alfalfa?

I've used lots of things on a sandwich, but for really chowing down on sprout salads strong flavors don't work. I'm talking about just the sprouts with a couple of halved cherry or grape tomatoes and a little lemon juice or vinegar.

Usually, daughter and I are fans of "Charlie Black, Rose, Divine, Pink" body sprays. We vary according to the seasons.

However, yesterday, we found a new line of Impulse. I got the new Musk and daughter got Tease.

Mine is Bergamot and Musk. Hers is Freesia and Apple Blossoms. Huge bottles for £0.95 at B&M. They smell amazing.

..and I thought I had a lot of ankle boots... I only have 9 pairs... :D...but many more pairs of trainers...
I love ankle boots! Some of them date back to my working life but, they tend not to get worn out so, they mount up! I didn't realise I had so many tbh and two pair were from the sales a few months back and heavily reduced ... I'm making excuses aren't I? :ROFLMAO:

I think you might be the trainer champion but, I will have a count up tomorrow and let you know :)

this is why I have so many trainers and boots, because they simply don't get worn out, but I get fed up with them after a while and then buy a newer style... then after a while I donate them....

@StarSong lead me astray. On my morning walk, I stopped at another store and asked for the price match for a 100 pack of mini chocolate bars. I will eat them; that’s what meant to be done with them. 😊. $11.77 plus tax.
You are welcome! Happy to help lead others astray.
DD has a favorite kind of cookie from our bakery, but since we started packaging them so that the container isn't sealed, she won't buy them. Whenever I have time to make some, I snag a package to buy for her. Well, today they were the last thing baked just before I left so were too hot to package. Instead...I bought two dozen unbaked and brought them home. Just baked a dozen.
When on vacation in the condo a couple of weeks ago, we went to the local grocer's in-store bakery. Cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and so forth. Having read about the changes at your bakery, I paid close attention and saw none there were actually sealed with the content labels or in any other way. The packages were either twist-tied closed or were in clip-together clamshell plastic packs. When seeing them in person, I was a little surprised that it didn't strike me as strange, risky or bothersome.

Bought some delicious scones and cookies there.

I am Curious.... if the twist-ties are wrapped in some manner,
(very tightly and uniform?)
that would be obvious to the cautious eye, (if we choose to deliberately examine them)
whether or not, some passer-by had untwisted and re-twisted them?

I'd also wondered if the rule about the ingredient stickers not being used for that dual purpose, is possibly due to some requirement that the ingredients list could still remain readable, after it's opened?

Even if so, I'd prefer that they do use some type of sticker or seal, a different one if wanted, while they are set out in displays at busy stores.

New (much needed) pair of leather work gloves. A 1500-lumen LED, 'warm light' type, replacement bulb for our kitchen. A container of generic-brand CLR equivalent. Four 3/8"x 4" carriage bolts, plus washers & lock-nuts. And a Phillips screwdriver bit (fits my cordless drill). All in one joyful swoop, at our locally-owned hardware store.:giggle:
