What have you bought recently?

Just a few groceries.....

I'm longing to buy a large framed print of one of the prehistoric cave paintings in France. Since I was a teen, I've wanted one. Then I forgot. Maybe soon, after L/R is repainted.
Go for it. If it’s something you’ve always wanted, it’s time to get it.

Nice to see you back, @StarSong Thought maybe you were away in your RV, since the weather is so hot in CA.

I'm happy about my elevated toilet seat I bought a few weeks ago. Makes life easier! 😊

I'll be picking out a new shower curtain in a few days.

Funny how simple, inexpensive things can make a difference.
I bought one years ago after having right knee replacement. Made sitting down on toilet easier. I still use it because my toilet is so low, it looks like it's meant for children. :)

A new, glass based microwave popcorn popper. Popcorn is my "crack" and the silicone one that I've used almost daily for more than 5 years has finally had it. It was a good pre-Prime Day deal on Amazon and it has a lid with holes that you can put butter in and it will melt onto the popcorn while it's popping.

My electric can opener came today, I was getting tired of turning that hand-opener. The only cans I generally use that are not pull tabs are; tomatoes, tuna, pumpkin puree' and certain beans. Now and then a canned soup. To tell the truth the pull tabs are getting difficult, like the dog food, so......

Today I ordered a baby chair to attach to a regular chair for sitting at the table, or just on the floor. My grandson wants to come down with the baby on Sunday.

I'm going to try a new recipe for Brussels sprouts. It's a creamy, cheesy gratin, baked the oven. Also, the garlicky, sweet/savory Mahogany Chicken DGS loves; basmati rice and cucumber spears.

Oh, this sounds like it's for me! I've never heard of these before. I think I need to get one for myself next month.

A friend passed one of these along when my now 2-1/2 year old grandson was small and her grands were past the age of needing it. TGS is likewise past that age, but LGS (Leapling grandson - born on Feb 29) is coming up on the right age for it. Mine didn't come with a tray attachment, but I probably wouldn't have used that anyway.

We bought a highchair 12 years ago when oldest GS was born, but after getting the above, we only broke out the HC when eating in the dining room. (My DR chairs swivel and rock, so they're not a good option for very little children, even with a chair insert.)
