Are those the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups? Yummy, but I read once some awful things about those and I swore I'd never eat another one. Ask me if I kept my promise. :rolleyes:

Like this. We bought a couple of sets for our house when Tractor Supply was remodeling and had them marked way down. Well, the girls absolutely love them and play literally for hours. We add to them every so often. Very nice quality. Schleich brand.

No, not peanut butter but rather has an almond butter center like one finds in premium chocolate boxes. Watch the video link.
 
I'm gonna spend money tomorrow. Gonna get the rest of the crap for Thanksgiving dinner and be done with it. If there are any odds and/or ends that I can't find, DD can go whenever and get them.

And my kitty needs kitty food.

I might even get wild and crazy and order stuff on my Amazon wish list.
 
In light of recent events I think inflation will be skyrocketing so I bought a year’s worth of paper products, cleaning supplies and toiletries. I bought 4 months of coffee and filled my freezer with meat.

If things turn out better than expected it’s no big deal and I won’t need to buy anything. I had my 16 year old car checked out thoroughly and it doesn’t have any leaks or issues. It’s a Toyota Corolla with only 72k miles. People in the USA should be prepared for what is happening.
 
My lovely lady and I, being lifelong ballroom dancers, have the good fortune to count quite a few other dancers as good friends. Since Covid we have got together as a group far less that we used to. My wife had a phone call this morning about our friend's New Year's Eve plans. Tickets have been booked for a dinner/dance in Bournemouth at the Pavilion Theatre/dance hall.

Not knowing of my wife's recovery, the phone call was just to let us know about said friend's New Year plans:
"I'm not missing out on that," the lady said, emphatically. So I have just put the phone down after parting with the required payment. So..........we shall be joining one or two friends,

Had a set of TV ears years ago, liked them, saved my marriage. Bought a newer version of them wireless, built to last, connect through bluetooth. They were actually cheaper & better quality than the originals. Paid $75. Wife does her thing with crossword & 1000 piece puzzles peacefully.

Work well with my ROKU remote, don't need an additional TV Ears remote.
Added perk - you don't have to remove your in the ear buds, the newer versions goes over the ear and gives you better sound & control.

Actually, DSIL's birthday is coming up and my poor-as-a-churchmouse brother's birthday is coming up, too. Also needed to replenish my own cash stash.

Brother is the only one of my siblings that I haven't distanced myself from. We're pretty close. Because our postal system woes are still ongoing, there's no telling how long a card would take to get to him...anyway from a couple of days to a couple of months...so I'm going to send cash via UPS.
