The only thing I have bought recently were a string of Christmas lights to go on the big shelf above the fireplace.

Last January, I bought a box of 30 Christmas cards in the Boxing Day sales when Christmas seemed such a long time away and, here we are, it's that time again, the cards are now all written out and waiting to be distributed. These days, it seems like we are on fast forward, time just flies!

Stopped at the liquor store yesterday, bought some vodka and premade margaritas. Cherry Mristmas!

Good stone ground mustard for me and Pepper Jack cheese for SO. After all you cannot check out just rabbit food.
An unexpected Amazon delivery yesterday. SO grinned and handed it to me. Detailing putty! Is he trying to tell me something?

Today at the Designer outlet mall..I bought an Emerald Green Goose feather & down Gilet... a Latte coloured wool knee length cardigan... all reduced by 2/3rd of the original price... a pair of white trainers..the latter reduced to just £5....

The cookie rack was delivered yesterday. I can already tell this is going to be a game-changer. Can't believe I didn't buy one before now!!!

I only have two fairly short houseplants these days, one on each side of my reading chair. But, winters being winters, I got two of these to give them a little boost:



I already have a smaller rechargeable power bank with 2 USB outlets, so no need to tie up more sockets. A full charge should power these a week on 12 hour mode.

Any "spilled" light will probably be beneficial for me as well.

A Costco run. Ouch. I do know if I bought all the items bit by bit in other stores it would be much more painful. DH bought a shaver and it was priced much lower than even the Christmas sales. Also, a quality warranty. My spouse doesn’t love this supposed Costco ordeal. He doesn’t even realize he’s not the one walking the pre-planned aisles. It was a good dinner tonight.

Driver's license renewal. $50 for five years . . . all in all not a bad deal. Because I'm OLD, I had to appear in person for an eye test. No crowd. No waiting. In my experience that's unheard of at the DMV.

Another grab bar for steps into laundry room. I have these where ever there is a chance of losing our balance or falling.
A coffee holder for my mobile scooter.
A case, 24 cans, of 5 oz. V-8 vegetable juice. Love this stuff, ice cold.

right I really need to know...people..tell me ..I really love this coat, I want to buy it...it's 25 % off... but will I get sufficient wear out of it given that I rarely go anywhere nice enough these days...that needs something more special than my Parkas.. and dress Jackets... it also comes in Black ...

I've put it into my basket twice, and removed it twice, talked myself out of it... so tell me..should I buy or should I leave it... ?

Depends how many similar coats are hanging in your closet.

I would skip the coat and use the money to heat my home.
