What have you bought recently?

Shoes, from Teva. They are very comfortable. I have worn the same style for years. Being homebound I can't go to stores even if I wanted to so I buy everything online, mostly Amazon. Groceries were the first things I started buying regularly online even before I was housebound. There are problems with out of stock items that aggravate me but still it beats my trying to get around the store.
I have had a lot of success finding Tevas on Amazon for SO. Are you checking the daily lightning sales?

On my dressing table I have a 2 tier lazy susan (turntable organiser) which looks like this...

..it holds all of my hair stuff..and all of sprays of all types.I've had it a few years now, and tonight I was looking at the other side of my dresser... and wondering if I should cull all my perfumes which sit on the other side, , and then realised I should just buy another Turntable organiser.. and so I've just ordered 2... because I'm going to put the second new one onto the bathroom shelf to hold all the shamppoos and conditioners.. I do have a vanity unit with 2 drawers but believe it or not they're full up...mainly with toothpaste and soap...and cleaning stuff
Why didn't I think of this before?..Huh ?

Placed an Amazon order for some Christmas cards that I've been waiting to go on sale, Bob's Red Mill 5 grain rolled hot cereal (ditto on the sale), and whole wheat flour. The stores I frequent are mostly produce-focused so they don't carry that specialty oatmeal mix. With WW flour, they either don't carry it or their sales are so low that their stock is stale (close to expiration date).

Other than the case for my new phone, I haven't placed any orders with AZ since mid December.

I heard they were organizing a search party...

Yesterday I went over and filled up my propane tank for my heater. Needless to say I was a bit stunned with the price. Previously it had been $2.99 a gallon, it's now $3.99 a gallon....

I'll be looking for another place to fill up because most places are still around $3 a gallon.

I really wish ours was just £3 per gallon... today's prices are £1.31 per LITRE..at Costco which is the cheapest ... and the rest are hovering at around £1.38 per LITRE... ( 4.5 litres in a gallon )

It is a bummer. We have natural gas hook ups but SO has some small heaters running on propane. Hang on to your tanks!

A haircut. I was feeling desperate. Had her cut it shorter and thin it more.

Popped into a thrift store to kill time. I‘ve decided to be tough and not buy anything that doesn’t fit perfectly and I have to love it. Put three things back on the rack and bought one petite blouse. Looks brand new. $7.

Omega 3 Fish oil, Flax Seed Oil, Probiotics and Areds 2 Eye Supplement.

Oh man, my wife has got both of us into Omega 3 fish oil recently. I think we've been taking it for about three months now.

I feel more flexible in the shoulders and hips. And I don't wake up with a load of gunk caking up in the corner of my eyes anymore.

Doing number two's feels a lot easier too! (Sorry for too much information...)

Went to my produce store and Aldi today. My fridge and counters are overflowing with wonderfully healthy foods. ❤️ Mangos, grapes, apples, nectarines, bananas, red lettuce, romaine, celery, 5 lbs of carrots, 5 lbs of broccoli, baby bok choy, zucchini, bell peppers, cukes, grape and regular tomatoes, 5 lbs of dried beans, 8 cans of beans, and two half gallons of almond milk.

All this for $38. No complaints from me about the cost.

Heads up @StarSong! Our rocking chair money wasn't "interrupted" as threatened by He Who Must Not Be Named.

I'm gonna spend some today and buy some cash from the credit union.

Yesterday, I spent $29 for an initial visit to the dentist, $3 for a lottery ticket (I didn't win, but money from sales goes to education in our state so that's okay) and $3 on heavy cream.

The cream was supposed to be for blueberry scones that I was going to make today. Maybe tomorrow? LOL The best laid plans of mice and men...

Today I spent £6 at the watchmakers' stall in the market for him to take 3 links out of the bracelet of a new watch I bought

I paid £55..in the Supermarket which included a Cast iron grill Pan...

...and £6, and change for an all day brunch at the pub.. with a coke

Good to know, and not a moment too soon!
I dropped $240 at Costco yesterday:
$29 on gas (I was only down half a tank, but filled it since I was there anyway.)
$86 on miscellaneous non-foods
$125 on food - mostly frozen and non-perishable. .

People are talking about the price of eggs, and I get that, but wow has coffee gone up! Kirkland Decaf 3 lbs that cost $10.99 in 2020-ish is now $17.89.

Climate change is the root of the problem. So many coffee plantations are dealing with droughts or floods, and this is only likely to worsen over time.

p.s. I didn't need any, but noticed Costco was completely sold out of eggs (this was about an hour after opening time, so unlikely they had many - if any - to start the day.

Just food and basic necessities these days for various reasons. But I did splurge on a 6 pack of women's Hanes undies from Amazon:D

The price of chocolate seems to be unreasonably high as well:(

I bought walking-around money for the month. Added some $$ to savings and set aside $200 for my Flower Fund but probably won't be buying bedding plants before the first of April.

Coffee is on my list for when DD does the grocery shopping again. When I have a cup of coffee during the day, I like to use the Keurig, but even the Walmart and Aldi brands are getting up there.

@StarSong Are you the Janet Evanovich/Stephanie Plum fan? When I finish this next book, I'll have five that I've finished. It'll take a few days to finish because my eyes get wonky when I read too long.

*Look Alive Twenty-Five
*Twisted Twenty-Six
*Fortune and Glory/Tantalizing Twenty-Seven
*Game On/Tempting Twenty-Eight
*Going Rogue/Rise and Shine Twenty-Nine

If so, PM me your snail mail address, and I'll send them book rate (cheap). That'll take a while because book rate is real snail🐌 mail!
