What have you bought recently?

DD's new tiny pup 10 weeks old now.... is called Lenny....

Lenny & Lexi sound like a double act....
Oh my...how adorable!!!

A bag of caramel corn for a Cub Scouts fundraiser. It was $20 (!!) for a standard-size bag, which seemed excessive even for a fundraiser.

Normally I'd never pay that, but who can resist an adorable little Cub Scout? (Not me, apparently, ha ha.) Plus I've always been a Scouts supporter. And I remember how delicious the caramel corn was from back when my son was a Cub and sold popcorn. So I paid.

Still available :)

Oooh, thanks, @hollydolly! Now all I need is a laptop. I should be getting one, soon, though; my PC is getting outdated, and I'm contractually obligated to have up-to-date equipment and software.

Darn, only one left in stock. I can't afford it right now. I've added it to my Wish List and will keep my fingers crossed.

You might check out Joy Systems. I think they are the largest refurbisher, low prices, and extended 3 year warranty including accidental damage is cheap. I am not affiliated with them, just know about them.

I bought some more roof sealing tape for the barn roof..... also I bought another chain strap for another handbag. I've alread got 2 chain straps to replace my leather straps, one in tan and the other in Black.. but I have a rich brown mahogany leather bag , and I want to add the chain strap to it to make it more secure.. so I ordered a dark brown chain strap for that..

Our front door lights are the type that go on at dusk and off at dawn. One started flickering and then died. No big deal, you think, right? So did DH. Turns out he can't replace the bulb because the unit is sealed (seriously???).

So he went on the magic internet to see what others have done - turns out trying to change the bulb in these is a near impossibility. Many have tried, only one (an electrician) reported succeeding. Even that electrician advised just buying a new unit.

Couldn't buy just one to match the one that still works because they're not being made anymore. Of course they're not. We've probably had these for 20 years so I can't complain too much, but a new set was $200.

Little bitty individual Gorilla Glue tubes (eight to a pkg), Dove chocolate, vinyl gloves so that my hands don't turn blue when I blue my hair, WM brand of Coricidin HBP. I really know how to get frivolous, right?

Aldi had the mums. They were in such poor condition that they were $1.19 each. I only got one because it was the only one I could find that is definitely going to live. DD got one. Hers is questionable.

In the grocery department at WM...I spent like I had all the money in the world but still only used up $43 and change on the Kaiser card. I could have used up the whole thing, but WM's produce was waaaay to awful to bother to bring home. Only two weeks to think of other stuff to buy before the card expires.
