What have you bought recently?

Are there functional differences between generations? Mine are 2nd gen. Have had them since 2017.
Yes mine was 3rd gen I'd had it since 2019... I had the the 2nd generation before that....

This Newest Gen as it's called.. has double the base and a deeper sound ... and has wi-fi extender...which was missing on the 4th gen.. it also
has a built-in ambient temperature sensor for use with Alexa routines.

Someone posted about this so I thought I'd try it. Charged it then found it easy to connect to use bluetooth. Used the optical connection took maybe 10 minutes. Works as advertised.

Wish I could contribute to this thread more, but except for my grandson I don't buy anything worth talking about. Spend more, Pepper-note to self :ROFLMAO:
The old joke, no need to spend more, I'm married! But in fairness, my wardrobe is bulging and it hasn't cost a dramatic amount.
The lady finished the shirt last night, all it cost was the price of the fabric. You see Pepper, no need to spend more.

The tie is silk, it has a matching pocket square and was a gift from my wife. One of the rare items that she actually bought.
Holly your compliment of wear it or frame it, is priceless, thank you. What I am going to do is keep it on my phone so that
when the lady has a wobbly, which can happen when the hem is out of line or the button and buttonhole don't meet up,
so as I said, whenever there's a hissy I shall remind her that it's not for framing in The National Gallery.

Amazon are doing what they're calling Amazon haul...where items are all less that £20.. and most less than £10... it's something they've begun to try and keep in line with low cost companys' like Temu, Shein, Ali express etc.. so i thought I'd try it out....
This is what I bought...

2 Hard back journals A5 and A 6...

2 ladies belts ( invisible)

pack of 40 thickened scrunchies
pack of 8 silk scrunchies

Oval style shoe laces for trainers

A sleeveless tank bodysuit...

Tigers eye style bracelet( costume jewellery)

Grand total.... £9.86...

..and I have to tell you everything was wrapped carefully individually, much better than any of the competing low cost marketplaces.. so I'm impressed...thus far .

More music.

In The Regions Of Sunreturn by Michael Garrison. Big fat analog synth music. Less melodic than what the likes of Tangerine were doing at the time, but a great mood nonetheless. Garrison never made it as big commercially as many did at the time.

Binary by Ani DiFranco. Ani is a feminist extraordinaire. That is right from her debut to the latter parts of her career, which is the period where this belongs. Her message, lyrically, is left leaning for those that care. Production wise she has intricate mixes of both experimentation and more traditional sounds. Still going strong on her Righteous Babe label.
