What have you bought recently?

is that Amazon ?... why is delivery taking so long ? I ordered a Thermal printer at around 1am this morning, it arrived 2 hours ago... at 8.15pm..in the dark and pouring rain.. I tipped the driver, anyone who can come out in this weather to earn a crust especially as she'd come from London... is worth all the tips they can get
Yeah, not a Prime member. The 10 day delivery delay probably is the result of a single item from the 6 requiring more days for delivery than the rest that normally may just be a few days to a week each. And of those items, I'd bet it is the Glow In The Dark strontium aluminate powder item that is likely coming from a small business that operates slowly, taking a day or three to even move product out its doors.

In any case, I am rarely in a hurry to receive products. The same day, I ordered a Pixel 10 Pro that is forecast to arrive on Dec 7, I purposely only ordered the phone on a single Cart purchase in order to isolate it from items that might slow shipment of the order.

The other day on here we were talking about knitting and crochet.. I said I can do both but in recent times I've had to stop.. particularly crochet, because I have OA in my fingers, so it;s too painful to grip the needles ...so you can imagine how pleased I was to find these little beauties...

A whole set of various sized needles, with a little pouch and some added accessories...and all the needles have a rubber handles so ideal for arthritis sufferers

So I bought them...

I also bought this water bottle shoulder strap....

@hollydolly—and everyone, in case anyone else is interested—the neck/shoulder massager arrived last night, and so far it's been great! The heat setting seems a little wimpy, but I was more interested in the power of the massage function, which is good and strong.

I'll explore the heat setting in more detail later today, but last night I immediately unboxed it and tried it. The massage function is four (I think it's four) balls that rotate, and they do deliver a powerful massage. That was my biggest concern: that it would simply vibrate or something.

Here's the Amazon listing. It's from the US site, of course, but I'm hoping it provides enough detail that you can track it down on the UK site, or find a similar product. https://www.amazon.com/Shiatsu-Mass...21b037b5b6be165982&qid=1764765921&sr=8-6&th=1

Thanks again for sharing those videos.

Also added a third Amazon order yesterday buying a pair of Levi 511 jeans for $35 or 40% off usual price plus a light mid layer polyester inner top layer. Not because I needed another pair of pants now, but rather, will in a few more months as that is what I wear daily and put through wash cycles.

Oh I'm delighted for you, that you're going to get relief from the pain. There's nothing much worse than having pain so near the brain... it just wears you down so completely......I hope it continues to bring pain relief for you..

Thank you! It arrived at the perfect time. I just started a long, complicated article with complex tables that are going to need a lot of painstaking formatting. My shoulders ache just thinking of it, ha ha, so I am super-happy this arrived when it did.

Do you have hard water in your area ?... because if you do as we do here... the minerals cause the white dust....if so, you need to use Distilled water

Today, 22 bags of Birdseye Voila! Skillet Meals in various flavors ... and some ice cream

DSC08735.JPG

EDIT: Most (not all) the skillet meals are pretty bland meals fixed right out of the bag.
I doctor them up with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and various seasonings and spices.
... I don't put any of that stuff on the ice cream though 🤷‍♂️

It never fails. A couple of weeks ago in a closet clean up, my husband told me to donate a nice sweatshirt that he never wore. Sure enough he now has a need for one or something similar. I found a Barney’s NY lightweight sweater for $10. It’s a beautiful, mostly cashmere in excellent condition.

welp, I realizedt hatt I'd bought the wrong type of humidifier and so
I just oedered the right kind...one with a FILTER, because tghat is what
I've used for years...using that kind prevents the whit powder...course
I'll have to clean/change the filters but not a big deal.....yay
