What have you bought recently?

I'm trying to pull back on purchases outside of food and other necessities. We have TOO MUCH STUFF already. (Can you tell I'm in decluttering mode?) My mindset is in pare down rather than accumulate mode.

DH just had a $600 dental bill for a night retainer to keep his bottom teeth from shifting. Apparently that's common with age. (So tired of hearing, "At your age..."

I can scrimp on pennies but the big expenses just keep a-coming. đź’¸

yes apparently the gums shrink... this is often why you will see older people whose teeth look too big for their mouth

^^^Preparing for an invasion? "One if by land, two if by sea" please let us know asap.
Today I ordered a power generator for 250 euro for my fridge and then I read on a prepper forum that a prepper said it's lousy and better just dig a hole to keep stuff cool, so I canceled it. It stinks, is loud. It's like putting a moped in your flat if you ask me. But better watch out for our army!

The 2 Dutch soldiers - oh sorry officers, whatever - leave Greenland:

In December 2009, right before I jumped in the huge U-Haul truck, the last thing I did was take my old, beat-up
snow shovel and planted it in the big snow drift. I yelled, "I'll have no use for THAT anymore!
Leaving the cold of Nebraska for the warm, sunshine of the South.

Yesterday I purchased a brand-new snow shovel...
