What Have You Never Done?

To the best of my knowledge and memory I have never drunk tea. And that for a Brit is tantamount to blasphemy. The smell of it just puts me off, yet my other half says that I make a great cup of tea. My preferred hot beverage is coffee, finely ground, served from a French press known as a cafetière. That's a coffee pot containing a plunger made of fine mesh with which the grounds are pushed to the bottom when the coffee is ready to be poured. I drink my coffee black without sugar.

I love the smell of ground coffee, especially on a Sunday morning but, if you are rising early on a summer's morning and fancy a change, try a pot of Yorkshire tea leaves in a proper china teapot, it's very refreshing. Probably just me but, breakfast tea needs to be served in a china tea cup and tea on a winter's afternoon, preferably strong and poured into a mug.

As a fan of the cafetiere you likely have a coffee bean grinder, it makes a great combination and the smell of freshly ground coffee beans is wonderous! I used to work near a little shop which only sold coffee beans and now, just the smell of good coffee always reminds me of that little shop which, sadly, is no longer there .

This is going to make me feel sad. I've never been sky diving. I've never gone water skiing. I've never gone roller blading. I've never ridden a horse over jumps or obstacles. I've never dyed my dark hair blonde.

Dull life.

Beyond my first post, the OP's question could be answered more meaningfully if posed "What have you never done, that most others have?"

And note, there is a significant difference between "never" and even "rarely" or "once".

Never been to a political rally.
Never been married.
Never taken an ocean cruise.
Never taken Las Vegas or Hawaiian or Disney vacations.
Never been to an NFL football game.
Never been to Europe, Africa, or South America.
Never been to a ballet.
Never been to a Broadway show.
Never owned a house.
Never owned a streaming device.
Never used an Apple MAC computer.
Never been to Washington DC.
Never sued anyone.
Never beat up anyone nor anyone do so to me.
Never used banking apps.
Never bought lottery tickets.
Never driven a convertible.
Never eaten scrambled eggs.
...

Back in 1980 the doctor told me to stop drinking coffee, it was irritating my gizzard. He didn't use the word gizzard, but I have not had coffee since.

Stated as though such is a negative that indeed may be true for some or most. At issue is, the few that start such threads (per OP) tend state such threads too broadly without seemingly thinking through how others might vector threads off in ways unintended. Like fleeting thoughts in their own minds that are blurted out without adequate context. Additionally in general, some that start threads have poor ability to control how threads then develop.

I have and will because I can, and that bothers me in no way without regret.

As for never doing things, I could make a long long list, especially things that would be publicly embarrassing or physically dangerous... Have never jumped off any cliffs.
Been there, done that. Johnson shut ins Missouri. Not the smartest choice. Must have sank over 40 feet.
