What have you taken off of your bucket list or at least aren't seriously considering it anymore?

I used to want to climb El Capitan before I turned 50 and then turned that into before I turned 60. However I'm not so sure I want to climb El Capitan anymore and I've pretty much taken it off my bucket list. I might consider climbing a few pitches and then spending the night in a portaledge on the wall, but I don't think I want to do the entire climb.

I've always wanted to take a trip to Scotland and see the Highlands. But now air travel just isn't anything I want to subject myself to. :cautious:

Have you ever considered taking one of the transatlantic repositioning cruises? I think some of them stop in England, but I know that some stop in Spain. They tend to be less expensive than other cruises. Now the problem would be getting back because they usually go to Europe in the April/May timeframe and return to the Caribbean in the September/October timeframe.

I may actually have that mixed up. It may be going from Europe to the Alaska area in April/May and back after that. However since the cruise industry has been so disrupted I wouldn't bet on anything going back to normal.

Three things I always wanted to do in my life.
  • Visit different countries around the world. (I've done that with 23 years in the Navy)
  • Visit all the States in the United States (Done driving cross country for 16 years)
  • Run in a Marathon (26.22 miles). Has to be taken off my bucket list due to my health conditions. :(

Visiting my kin in Ireland

Seriously doubt that's gonna happen, as I no longer care to go anywhere I can't get back before dark

Still.....wouldn't mind sipping a pint in an Irish pub

We have been on four cruises, but doubt that we will go on another because of the illnesses that have popped up.
Another horse back vacation is out and after seven hiking vacations those are out as well because we are getting creaky.
We have largely ruled out flying down to New Zealand or Australia. Those long flights don't agree with us anymore.
Buying a two seater sports car is out these days.

What is still in: riverboat cruises, and trips: to Portugal, the UK, Hawaii, NYC, and a train trip across Canada.

I always wanted to be on American Bandstand. Had to scratch that off years ago. *sniffs*

Other than that...don't really have a bucket list.
