What interesting titbit of trivia can you tell us about you ?

Me too. When my family moved to FL in 1962, the schools were segregated. Not only the schools but restaurants too. Coming from NY at 10 years old I could not understand why it was like that.
Yes I can understand that kat..

Difference with my situation was that there was just no children or people in fact of colour living in my area.....there was no segregation ..

I tell no lie when I say that aside from on TV..I never saw a Black person in real life until I was 21...

There was asians, Indian & Pakistani's in the older parts of the city who ran corner shops but we only ever saw them inside the shops never outside.. .. but not where I lived in the so called upper class areas..

I just had a little look at my school now.. and apparently it has 400 more pupils than it did when I was there making 1400... .. and 13 % of them are now non white.. so that very different to 50 years ago

No matter how many times I have tried, I cannot drive a standard automobile.
Owned a 1990 Jeep and could only drive it in reverse never forward. Ended up selling after 3 weeks of trying.
When I was in the army I was told I was driving a jeep to the field, I told them I couldn't drive a stick. They told me I had a week to learn........I drove to the field šŸ˜„

I played Mr Witherspoon, the superintendent of Happy Dale Sanitarium, in the play, Arsenic and Old Lace, when in high school.

We did 6 shows. 5 of the cast members, including me, attended the same elementary school which was interesting.

I met a woman on another forum who played a dead body in the play when she was in high school. I wasn't dying to be in the show so I went for a living role.

Holy Wow! That car is freaking gorgeous!

Yeah, we're still lost in the 70's. Organ pipe speakers, shackles, N-50's, pin stripe flames, exhaust cut-outs the whole deal. Of course, big block 454 will let it run.
Of course, we've had this car since 1977, so lot's of time to change it around until we got it right. :)

I don't want to derail Holly's thread, but truly, your car is a thing of beauty. You could start a thread about this car.
