Why do we care how over the top proms have got. If they have the money, why not. It's like the dog thing, let the dog owners spend money on their pets, and let the kids spend money on their proms. How does this affect us? There are people spending tons of money on fancy cars and fancy houses and clothes. People will spend money on things they consider important to them and makes them feel better. I have no problem with proms or limos or whatever, as long as I'm not the one paying. LOL.
