There is a makers mark on it: "Property of The Lannon Mfg Co, Tullahoma, Tenn"

What Is It?

"no, I just sent my collection out for detailing."

Now I'm seeing Phil's living room walls covered with stuffed - nuts! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Cookies? Baseball? Not baseball? Thingie? Not thingie? Cheating? Not cheating? Oh . . . my...! Uhm . . . I'm not cheating. May I have a cookie, anyway???

You folks are bad ... what would you do without the Internet? ;)

Well, you folks beat me this time. :(

This gizmo is a Baseball Stitching Rig, made to hold a baseball as the cover is hand-sewn on.

The two holders are concave and lined with baseball "leather" in order to better hold the ball while stitching.

Well, I'll be...... Never thought about something to hold the baseballs while being stitched. Interesting.
