No, not a saw blade - I believe it's a wood dowel.

Arrrrggghhhh......baseball or softball...stitch in time...sewing..stitches. No clue what that thing is or how it's used, but from images...Maybe???

Well, you folks beat me this time.

This gizmo is a Baseball Stitching Rig, made to hold a baseball as the cover is hand-sewn on.



The two holders are concave and lined with baseball "leather" in order to better hold the ball while stitching.
