What is this plant?

It's growing next to the house foundation. It grew rather quickly and is now between 2.5 and 3 feet (75 - 90 cm) tall. In the close up photo I can see a tiny white flower.

Looks like a Lantana that has no buds on it. It is a bad year for Lantanas...at least around here and it looks just like a couple of mine.
 
Not Lantana, it doesn't survive our winters.

If there's no thorns or prickers on it, doubtful it's an edible berry, but then again, the leaves look like a bramble.

Too big to be basil.

Do the leaves smell minty?

I'm ruling out hydrangea, it should be either in bloom or budded by now.

Yet, it looks so familiar!
