What is your favorite coffee?

The only decaf coffee I can tolerate is Instant Starbucks Via. It comes in little tubes, measured. I don't recall the cost but Very expensive. I just happened to find a box of 10 on a Sale table, for just over $2. So I bought it and was pleasantly surprised; it wasn't too bad.

I don't have a problem w/ coffee health-wise, but once in a great while I want the taste of it late in the afternoon or early evening, but then I can't get to sleep.
I buy a brand called Mount Hagen. It is Organic decaf coffee in those tubes, and it is pretty good! About ten bucks on Amazon or direct from their site.

I use a steel 16 ounce french press that I sometimes add cocoa niblets and chaga mushroom powder to the ground coffee beans. I am a big fan of Chaga mushroom tea

I buy chunks of Chaga mushroom online from various sources and grind the chunks into powder. I learned you can put a chunk mushroom in a teapot with hot water and the Chaga will continue to yield quality tea simply by adding more hot water. This means I don't need to make powder from the chinks of Chaga

I really liked McDonald's Columbian till I couldn't get it anymore, only those little cups. Columbian seems to be my go to. I like the Chock Full O' Nuts Columbian. I also like Italy's LaVazza, usually get their medium roast.

I would experiment, but I can't afford $ to.

About sixteen months ago I was cleaning out cupboards and found Annie's French press that she used quite often. I went on line and learned how to use it. I didn't have any coarse ground in the house so I went out and bought a grinder. A friend told me that she found out there was one grocery chain that carried Eight O'Clock beans that I remember having back in the eighties so off I went and bought a couple bags. I used to grind it in the grocery store for a percolator. This is so much better coming from the French press. As others have mentioned, the process is a bit messy but I still think it is worth it.
The only time I drink Tim Hortons now is if I'm out with friends and we stop to gab for a bit after skeet shooting.

Verena Street Sumatra Whole Bean. It's out of Dubuque Iowa. Tried to get a pic, didn't work. On Amazon it's $12 for 11 oz bag. At the store this month it's 6.94 We like it.

San Francisco Bay French Roast coffee pods which I brew in a Keurig machine. An ounce or so of Almond Milk mellows it out. A minute or two to make a morning cup.

In 1980 the doctor told me to stop drinking coffee, it was irritating my gizzard or something to that effect. Haven't had any since.

The McDonalds coffee is the same as the McCafe that you can buy at the grocery store, @Pepper.
Originally, McDonalds used the Seattle’s Best Coffee, and I am not sure if they just re-branded it as McCafe, or if McDonald’s stopped using Seattle’s Best and came up with their own brand. Probably the one you liked so much was when it was Seattle’s Best, becasue that is wonderful coffee.

My husband loves the McCafe Columbian, and that is what he always wants me to buy for him. It has gone up to over $14 for the 30 oz can here, but Walmart (for some unfathomable reason) sometimes has the 3-pack on sale for just over $16 for all three cans. I keep checking it to see, because it mostly shows as out of stock, but every now and then, it is available and i order that when I find it.

I was doing a survey this morning about coffee makers , and one of the items they were showing was a device for Keurig coffeemakers that draws moisture out of the air, purifies it, mineralizes it, and fills up the water container for the Keurig.
I don’t know how much one of those will cost when it comes out, but I really like the idea ! The water would not have any contaminants like fluoride or chlorine in it, and would have added minerals.
If I had that, I might want to have a Keurig.

I really loved the Maple Pecan Pie coffee I got from Aldi's. It's seasonal and I haven't seen it there since Thanksgiving time. I also like the Kona Blend they have at Lucky's. Jamaican Me Crazy is really good too. I also like their French Roast. I like to switch up.

I am not a coffee fan. I like the aroma, but the taste is strong for me. Rarely I drink it, but it's when I have no choice like at a pot luck supper where they only have coffee for a beverage and even then I choose decaf if it's available. I need something to wash down food.

Seattle's Best. I buy the Keurig pods from Amazon. It tastes much better than most of the pod type of coffee. I started using that brand when we lived near Seattle, and was glad to see that I can still get it here.

Just the THOUGHT of the SMELL of coffee roasting makes me want...I will be right back!

Back with a fresh cuppa. AHHHH. Cup three of the day.
Peet's Dark Roast Decaf or Don Francisco's "Kona" Blend, Regular. (A smooth, rich coffee with zero bitterness so good, I can drink it black).

For coffee you find bitter try a trick my Aunt taught me long ago: add a pinch of salt to the grounds and this takes away bitterness. Works like a charm.
