I lived in a place that was endless summer, and loved it. I don't understand the appeal of "four seasons."

Autumn. They days are still warm, and the nights cool. That's great for doing stuff, and sleeping. For some reason, spring doesn't have the right day/night heat ratio.
(I know it's kind of dumb, not to have realized before, but each season is 93 days long. That's not a long time. When you say the seasons last 3 month, it sounds a lot longer.)

One is enough for me too, so long as its warm.
Other parts of the world have more or fewer seasons, and still others who use the same seasons as us start them on different days. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Season
So by some calendars fall began Sept 1, the Irish began it August 1, and most folks in the US begin it on the vernal equinox ~Sept 21. On the Odia calendar Autumn began in August, but they have 6 seasons total, including Monsoon and Pre-Winter between Autumn and Winter.

"Why?" Because it is not hot!
"What do I do in that season?" I go outside more. Spend time in the parks and taking pictures. Just enjoying it more.

Autumn and Spring are the two seasons I enjoy the best.
So precious seeing the beautiful colours Autumn brings, and then new life again in Spring.
Summer is nice of course but much too hot it has been this year in the UK.
Winter with the first fall of snow is so magical, I just love looking out at it. But as for the ice that eventually follows, that is a dread indeed.

Winter because the temp. finally drops down below 90 degrees and we actually get a drop of rain some years. (Of course, we only get about 2 weeks of winter a year, sigh.)
