"What motivates you in life?"
My answer is fear of procrastination, I'm afraid of failing to try.
The secret is to get your procrastination done first thing!

All of the above. Honestly I think I'm the laziest thing ever created. At least by nature. What motivates me to get up in the morning is breakfast. It's embarrassing but true. I do like to problem solve also, but not so much that it motivates me everyday.Love, money, power, sex, religion, fear, drugs? All of the above or something else.
What driving force gets you out of bed in the morning?
I would hope the answer would be love, but I clearly don't see that in the world around me.

My dog and his need for food - I would hate to see him starve! - wots this post about> - erhmm oh motivation - erhmm ??/ some days I just operate on automatic drive - feed the dog; walk the dog; wipe up the messes and do the monthly mop of the floor - but obviously there is always an automatic switch that wakes you ; reminds you have hunger - and a brain full of memories so you still know how to turn on the stove and cook something.
the dog likes to walk in the forest so I feel motivated to do that most days. still making homemade beer - that's a good motivation but really really - it's a biochemical thing that keeps you goin imo and when it is set wrong or automatically wears out and clicks wrong then you select suicide OK?? [ ps: no I am not!!]

Pretty deep and relatable. Is this to say you do not look forward to anything? A good steak/chicken/seafood dinner, gathering with friends or family, music, art, being along in nature, thinking of what is to come?I love this question.
I can answer in the here and now - nothing.
Nothing is driving me day to day. Some times I don't see any point. I am who I am. I've done what I've done. If I no longer fit, then I no longer fit.
Nothing gets me up in the morning. I just go through the cycle, and that means I wake.
