What should happen to this beast

Evening all,
I have been reading the BBC news and two men on motor cycles stopped a woman in the treet (broad day light) the woman was 37 weeks pregnant,
They pushed her to the ground kicked her in the stomech repeatedly and then stammed on her stomech, after 1 hour the emergency services didnt arrive and so the police took this woman to the nearest hospital (the baby died ) and the woman is critical,
they've arrested a 21 yera old for this offence.

Question,
What do you think should happen to this beast who's committed both death to the unborn child and the vicious assault on this woman.

PLEASE DONT SAY REABILITATION.
 

That sounds like where ever that was, the emergency folks are not at all well prepared.

I compare the described actions to what I have experienced here in Arizona twice in the last month. My wife falls, I call 911. In less than 5 minutes I have a fire truck pull up outside and 4 people enter my house and start working on my wife. A couple minutes later an ambulance arrives and help the firemen to prepare my wife for travel to the hospital. It turns out to be a heart attack. My wife is saved. So again a few weeks later my wife falls again and I repeat the call to 911. In about the same time the fire truck showed up. This time they looked different so I asked. My local fire station was already out on a call of some sort so a nearby firestation was assigned, also followed by an ambulance. So once again the wife was saved and is again back home after some more hospital time. Both these event happened quickly and never needed police to be involved.

So by the report above, something is wrong with the plans or the attitude of the people. That should be fixed soon for all to depend on.
 
This happened in South London in an area which is crime ridden. Unfortunately we are always hearing in the media about emergency services ( police and ambulances not responding to emergency calls urgently)..

This young woman is still in a critical condition and may yet not survive.

He should be charged with murder of the unborn child, and attempted murder of the mother and jailed for the rest of his natural life, but I can almost guarantee he'll get no more than 10 years and serve only 2/3rds of that in a cushy prison !!

Thanks Hollydolly. It is quite inconceivable, isn't it? I can't even begin to understand the motive or the action.

We has a report yesterday of a man punching a 16 month old baby girl in the face at Central Railway station. Fortunately the girl was not badly injured. It appears that the man was schizophrenic. The mentally ill are not well looked after over here and are often off their meds.
 
As hollydolly has said these people who commit these cries walk the street after a very short time in gaol,
Ive just read about a gang in northern ireland who kicked a young lad at a party, they used his head like a football, two years later and all this time in a coma the young man died, his attacker has served his short time for "assault" not murder and he walks the streets, A hero amoungst his friends.

The lads father was on the tv and he said his family has also died the day his son died "but they are still breathing "not living".

This cant be right that life has a cost less than a crime that steals tax 's etc from the state,

"ie if your done for tax theft you'll get a lot longer sentence inside than if you go out a kill someone.

I hate to think what the worlds going to be like in say 20 years time??
I thought i'd seen or heard it all by now and not much would shock me "But i was wrong".
