What small seemingly unimportant thing just pees you off

In a small town just outside my city there is a public parking lot that has businesses around the perifery (including a restaurant I like).
If you wanted to park there in the past years the parking places were numbered and at a kiosk device you paid for parking by keying in your spot number and inserting quarters for each unit of time you expected to be there.
The last time I was there, they taped an 8.5 x 11 letter over the front of the kiosk with instructions to go to a website, create an account, and use a credit card to pay.

So you'd have to spend 10 minutes paying to park when you used to pay in about 10 seconds.

I left and went to eat elsewhere where the parking is free.

I tell you what really peed me off today. We have a terrible poitcial party at the moment, I didn't vote for them, and they really need to go. Today the reps for the Opposition party came around....I have been cosidering voting for them at the next election which is very soon..

On my door it clearly says NO leaflets..... so what did they do... pushed the leaflets through the letterbox

When I opened the door to see who it was , I discovered it was the actual candidate for the opposition party himself.. he was already 3 doors away by then... so what pisses me off it that not only did he totally ignore my request for no Leaflets... but the very first paragraph on his leaflet said '' we called today to discuss your concerns about the local residing party...'' or words to that affect..

Now that was a downright lie.. he didn't knock or ring the bell... so that man because he did that.. ignored my request and lied on his pamphlet ...... will not be getting my vote, and doubtless the many people here in my neighbourhood he's done the same to, won't vote for him either... stupid man !

What about my all time peeve.. which happens to me at least once a week... drive into an empty or almost empty car park...

1000 spaces.. or more....

Come back to my car and find this....

I drive a low to the ground sedan. While the rest of the world likes these larger, higher up SUV type vehicles.
I've noticed that people can't park these bigger vehicles. Maybe the ones who hug other cars need the other car as a reference otherwise they can't judge the white lines.
Just a guess.

yes someone else said that further back. (y) .. however in the UK even the postman ( mailman) puts leaflets and junk through the letterbox.. When I asked him to stop he said he's not allowed to not post them, they're paid to do it... so he's not allowed to follow my instruction on the door for no junk mail

I jumped the gun in posting that, since I noticed later Ohioboy already had it covered.

I don't think that can be the reason... it's not always gas guzzling SUV's that park next to me... those pictures were only an example from google.... next time someone does it I'll take a photo...

With me always the small stuff the bothers me, and makes me glad I'm alive to go through it. Like standing right over the trash can and missing it. ChapStick that falls under the couch and rolls all the way to the back. Bumping into the coffee table at the same spot every time, and looking for something that's right in front of me.

Yeah, ^^ this!

Leaving shopping cart in parking spot.

Leaving electric shopping cart out. If you can walk in to get it, you can walk out after putting it back.

At a park I frequent, there's no parking (With Signs) at the entrance. But people will park there anyway, even though they could park in a nearby parking lot only used M-F. They don't want to walk 50'

Companies used to hire enough employees that they could send someone out to gather stray carts.

Now they try and get by with a skeleton crew.

Holly, maybe some of those cars are just lonely. That blue one looks like it's crying. Maybe it needs a friend. Imagine being a lonely car
and pulling into a huge parking lot and seeing only one other car there? Wouldn't you want to say "Hello, what kind of day are you having? Have you been here alone for a long time? Where are you from?" And so on.

And if you were the first car to be there, imagine how happy you would be to finally have a friend.

No stray carts ( trolleys) here at Supermkets because they are locked up and we put a coin in to release them, and the coin is refunable if the trolley is returned to the Corral

not according to people on THIS forum, most have these chained trolleys now in the US, and are apparently quite new compared to the UK
When I say "here", I'm referring to my little corner of the world. No one can speak for the entire United States. The US is too big and too culturally diverse to paint an overall picture of it.

People whose upper lip can't cover their teeth.

I don't mind a bit of exposed teeth when someone is smiling but have always been mildly perturbed when someone's gums are on full display. I think on some level, even tho i know for most people it happens with it is an anatomical issue they can't control, i feel as if the smile is phony-- that the gums show because they are trying too hard.

I’m pretty easy-going so little things do not annoy me. However, I am majorly annoyed by trying to get a quote for the past month from a local window company. I went into their shop with the measurements of my two bedroom windows and a picture of them. Based on that information, he printed me out an estimate and told me to call if I wanted to pursue having them installed.

I wanted tilt in windows so I could clean them on the outside from the inside. I live on the third floor of a condo building. Our HOA does not clean the outside of any windows. When I had my balcony enclosed, I had windows that can be lifted out so I can clean both sides.

The salesman when I called him saying I wanted to get the windows told me he had to come out and measure himself. He stood me up twice over two weeks. So I called and asked for a new salesman. That’s when I find out from the new salesman that they do not install the windows, but they hire a construction company to install them and they would need to come out.

Needless to say the construction company came out and then the price just about doubled . There’s no way I’m paying almost 4K for two small bedroom windows. If I known in the very beginning that the price was for the windows only I would’ve never bothered to pursue the matter and waste my time or theirs. I’m going to go online and give them not only a bad review but that information to other people so they realize that basically they only give you half a quote.

It bugs me when the grocery store has lots of big shopping carts but hasn't brought in any of the small carts. Sometimes I'll even go back out into the parking area to find a small cart.
Another little thing that tee's me off is how all the shampoo brands leave a slippery feel on my hair. I miss the shampoo of olden days. When I went to Italy this spring, all the hotels had decent shampoo and my hair got to be shiny and fluffy for a week. Sighhhh, I miss that.
