What started the California wildfires this time ?

I've been looking all over the internet to find out the cause of how these fires started and I can't find anything ! I know there's about 5 fires raging now . Do you know ,or have you read anything ?

Dunno, But it's the high winds that keeps them from being extinguished.

Well,they are blaming PG&E for the NorCal fires so I`m sure they will get blamed for the SoCal ones as well. It`s very popular these days to blame PG&E for everything,so wh not? Seriously though,I did hear last night that they are (possibly) blaming Southern Edison,since PG&E doesn`t service that area. Let`s not blame extremely high winds,5 1/2 years of drought or Mother Nature,for that matter....

Well, no lightening has been reported, so the only ignition sources available would be man made, like power lines blown down, or arson.

If they start close to roads the most likely cause is cigarettes. Controlled burning can get out of control and even sparks from grinders can set a fire off and running.
