In April of this year I was paying $7.99 for a 7/16 x4x8 sheet of OSB. OSB is a material used for flooring subfloor, roof decks, wall stability, etc.
Today the price for the same material, at the same store was $22.95 per sheet! How can that be, I asked. I was told that there is such a shortage that business and property owners, are stock piling the material for protection from storms, rioting and physical damage, that the material is very hard to obtain. Hence the supply and demand excuse kicks in. Are you experiencing high material costs, product shortages, including food and supplies in your area?
