What TV shows do you watch?

"What TV shows do you watch?"

I'm with you on Yellowjackets, The Gilded Age, The Righteous Gemstones, and The Last of Us. Right now, I'm catching up on Season 1 of Rogue Heroes.

I'm looking forward to new seasons of Resident Alien, Outlander, Painting With John, How To With John Wilson, Warrior, Perry Mason, and My Brilliant Friend. That's all I can think of presently. :)

Bella✌️
Yes, I forgot to mention Perry Mason (which starts in March) and How To With John Wilson (not sure when it starts). Great minds!

BTW, did you watch the most recent episode of The Last of Us? I was bawling my eyes out. Totally caught me off guard.

I watch
LoneStar
9-1-1 *the TV show with Jennifer Love Hewet)
Castle
Bones
Good Doctor

And lots of stuff from You Tube....many interesting (to me at least) topics covered
I watch stuff on Prime, Netflix and Hulu

One series, out of OZ, that I have watched several times on Netflix Is Wentworth. Takes place in a womens' prison and based off Prisoner in Cell Block H
Wow, I watched Prisoner of Cell Block H in the 80's! I'll have to check out Wentworth.

I’m a recent Netflix convert, and have gotten into a show there called Wednesday, who is the daughter of The Addams Family. Now Wednesday in this series is portrayed as a teenager attending a special private school called Nevermore, after Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven. Teenaged Wednesday is bright, quite articulate, and of course, dark. She’s adept at archery and fencing, has learned kung fu from her uncle, and plays dark pieces on her cello like a virtuoso. Directed by Tim Burton, I really love the show, which brings in other Addams Family characters including Thing… 🙀
My brother-in-law turned us onto Wednesday when we were all together at Christmas. The actress that plays Wednesday is great and hilarious!

Yes, I watched it. It was an unexpected, very touching, and thought-provoking episode.

I'm a Stranger Things fan too and finished watching the latest season shortly after it aired. Currently I'm watching The Rookie, Rookie Feds, 911: Lone Star, Fantasy Island (reboot) and Ghosts. I just started watching Wolf Pack which premiered on Paramount+ last week and the new Night Court. I'm so into Criminal Minds right now. I went back to S3, now on S4 to catch seasons I missed from when Joe Montegna (Rossi) joined the cast and am also watching Criminal Minds: Evolution (new show airing on Paramount+ this season; they are counting it as S16),

I'm waiting for part 2 of the seasons for The Equalizer and 9-1-1. Looking forward to new seasons of Evil, Resident Alien, Reacher and The Old Man. I also watch a myriad of beachfront home buying shows, mostly in the HGTV catalog (via Discovery+) and luxury home tour shows such as Open House and Open House NYC, though there are no new episodes. I have several other shows in my watchlist. Through the beauty of streaming, I can get back to those whenever I'm ready.
In addition to the incredible plot, we love all the 80's references in Stranger Things and the kid that plays Dustin is just hilarious.

We also watched every season of Criminal Minds until it ended on network TV. It is addictive.(y)

Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) is from New Jersey. Since I'm a N.J. native, I love that he's from our state. He is such a cutie. Having curly hair doesn't hurt...I absolutely love seeing curly headed people. I think they found an incredibly talented bunch of children for that show. Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) has played in several film and T.V. shows. As a child Caleb had a part in an opera. His first starring role on Broadway was as Simba in The Lion King, which he played for two years between the ages of 11 and 13. In 2018 he won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Performance by a Youth.

The Criminal Minds team is so incredible and each episode has such interesting and often quirky themes that it's hard not to get hooked. The actors are excellent, they make their characters so believable and the dynamic between them is well......dynamic. :D I'm definitely addicted!

Lucas is great, and his sister is a hoot!

Considering what I pay for low tier cable, I don't watch that much.

The Curse of Oak Island.

The 90 Day Fiance crap. Sporadically.

The Baking Championship shows on Food Network.

Some Investigation Discovery shows.

The Neighborhood Wars, Customer Wars etc.

If I can catch repeats of World's Dumbest. Good for stupid laughs.

Some local news. I also tune into Faux news to see what they are going on about and CNN.

Stumbled on a movie last night that was surprising good. The Outfit on Amazon Prime. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Outfit_(2022_film)

Otherwise just a mixed bag, whatever strikes me when I am browsing.

Went through a documentary phase, but now I kinda feel like I know all I need to about Rome, the origins of the Universe, Hitler, dinosaurs, the French revolution etc.

TV shows from my recent past (when my friend had me on her Netflix):

Line of Duty. An internal affairs department investigates corrupt cops. Each story covers several episodes, but it's still good. British drama.

Community. People with nothing in common attend community college and become friends. (Community college really is like that.) Some fun ridiculous stuff. American comedy.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Cop comedy, with very little about actual law enforcement. My friend thought it was too slapstick, but I really enjoyed it. I stopped watching when someone got talked into having a baby. American comedy.

Don't forget the Ancient Pyramids, and The Victorians, LOL

I am watching The Last of Us on HBO/Max. The first two episodes were the standard "Getting to know the characters and setting up the plot" episodes and
the third episode (with Nick Offerman playing a very different role than on Parks and Rec) opened up the world some. I will probably stick with it.

In the past few weeks I did a rewatch of Deadwood. I enjoyed revisiting that world again.

A half hour of local news and weather. The rest of our watching tends to be older movies, some sports (me) and some cable news (my wife).
Lately we've watched "Disasters at Sea" and "Air Disasters", on the Smithsonian Channel. Tragic but interesting.

I love documentaries. Crime dramas- "Law & Order"- DUM DUM.
I watched Perry Mason, when it was first on TV in the 50s & 60s. And I've been watching it ever since. It's on MeTV twice a day, but not on weekends, so I have the boxed series to watch.-You gotta have a back up, come on. (And yes, the 80s P.M. is on Sunday eve on MeTV.)

I am a big fan of criminal minds and I watch all the old episodes all the time. What channel is Paramount?
