What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you haven't watched it yet, there are 3 seasons to view.
Thank you Pepper. I was advised to watch ever since the first season but never did. Lately I've been thinking about checking it out, Now I will definitely do it. It's a good time since the shows I was watching this past season are all on hiatus.

It will be a permanent hiatus if the writer's strike isn't settled. You know what that means...........more "unscripted" reality shows! I don't know about you, but for me that means UGH!

I'm not held prisoner by unscripted reality shows because I have plenty to watch via my streaming services. The amount of shows, episodes and movies on my watch lists is insane!

The first two Jason Bourne movies. Never cared much for the third one.
I loved the first Jason Bourne movie (The Bourne Identity) but was deeply disappointed when they appointed that director who believed in shaky cameras for the subsequent films! I gave the first one a nine in IMDB and films 2 and 3 a two, out of pure spite! Yes, I can be spiteful at times! :) Especially when it comes to critics! They found "shaky" exciting! It always reminds me of the Emperor's New Clothes!

My daughter, my son-in-law and I just got finished watching "Invictus!" It is about my all-time greatest hero Nelson Mandela! I watched it only about a month ago and so loved it that I just had to recommend it to my loved ones. Success! My daughter proclaimed it to be one of the best movies she ever watched!

I watched the first episode of Picard this afternoon. I loved the visuals and it was intriguing, so I'll continue watching. Thank you again. :D

I wonder if those who manipulate things behind the scenes in reality shows could be considered to be "writers?" There's very little "reality" behind most of them! The closest to reality was a show my wife and I liked to watch: Deadliest Catch!!

Only time I ever watch TV is while in bed late at night and trying to go to sleep.
Most of the time I will pick something out off Amazon Prime Video.
Often I don't even finish a movie. Other times it may take 2 or more nights to finish one.

The last movie I watched was "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" from 2017.
Had never heard of that movie and chose to watch because of the review rating.
A futuristic sci-fi kind of movie.

Does anyone living alone find it hard to watch a movie by themselves?

Off topic as usual: I also hate eating alone at the table and watch everything with the food on my lap in front of the TV these days! Somehow that makes it a bit less lonely!
Old Salt - I have to eat alone every day. I usually sit at my kitchen bench with the computer on and check up on my emails. Never watch the TV in the morning and only switch it on about 4.30pm until late at night.

For the 9th time, I watched “Behind Enemy Lines” on Friday night. A woman I met a few weeks ago invited me to dinner. I offered to take her out instead, but she wanted to stay in. I think she wanted me to taste her cooking. She definitely passed that test. Great cook. She asked me if I liked Italian. I told her yes, I did. She made her own spaghetti and meatballs with her own recipe of sauce and medium sized meatballs, which is the size I like. I twirled my spaghetti, which impressed her. We had cannoli’s and a cognac I never had. I saw the letters “XO.” Does that ring a bell? I generally drink Hennessy and never asked for any other, so it may be popular, but I never heard of it.

She showed the movie because she thought it would be one that I would really like. I guess she didn’t think I ever seen it, but I didn’t say anything. It’s kind if fake, but still a decent movie.

I'm amazed yet again at our similarities! That's exactly what I do when I eat my meals 99% of the time. I use a small cutting board as my lap tray. One of my guilty pleasures is eating while watching my favorite shows. I keep telling myself I need to eat at the table because I feel I eat almost twce as much sometimes when I eat while watching T.V. Studies show that people eat 33% more. I'll eat at the table a couple of times, then it's right back to my recliner and T.V. 😜

Dungeons and Dragons: Surprisingly good for a movie adaptation of a game. A mix of high end talent, and some actors I'm not familiar with, although they did a good job. It's starts out quite captivating, but later in the film has a few slow spots.

Stromboli on Netflix. About a lady who likes to drink vodka out of her suitcase, etc. She has a transformation after getting lost and finding a spiritual place she visits.

At first I thought you were talking about my sister :giggle: , but the rest of it sounds interesting.
